All I will say now is we have seen hull go and now villa are weakened so we seem to be attacking our bogey teams <laugh> at worst it helps us in 2 games a season that we've been piss poor in.

Either way my view is we will need to have two sitting in front of our cbs and let the full backs go forward.

Can and henderson as of now I suppose but milner could as we've seen on occasion.

If we sign another player which is expected it should be a guy for that area.

That front 4 could line out a lot of was and could just be released to play on their own.

And yes I know everyone will scream henderson should be further up..... wellllll..... I've seen him there and he can pass it well enough to make it work.

If another manager took on that side it must be said it's got more power than before, a bit of height and options from the bench. It should be solid defensively so if it's not imo it's all down to rodgers.
 
I don't really understand the negativity towards this signing,we have ourselves a 1 in 2 prem. striker who will give any
defence in the league problems. If he brings us 15 or 20 goals a season for the next few years,£32m will seem decent enough
 
Here is a question. Are Lyon actually any better than Aston Villa? I know the Ligue 1 is far inferior to the Premier League.

So is Benteke actually any less proven than Lacazette?

Both have impressive goal stats at average clubs.

Benteke is a proven prem. striker............Lacazette isn't. No doubt there is a step up from Ligue 1 to the PL.

That's the thing with buying in from abroad......can they do it in the prem?

We know Benteke can.............and that is significant
