Well it wouldn't be a proper transfer window if they didn't gape our arsehole at least once would it?!

Those asking about Mateo Kovacic: to clarify - @LFC haven't made any bid for him and, as things stand, they have no interest either

Chris Evans said he'd never be the new presenter of Top Gear and look at him now
These transfer windows get more and more annoying as they years go on. So much speculation and **** all actually happening cause the window is even open yet.
For the future I'd like to see the window open the day after the CL final (which should be the last game of the European season) and transfers can't be reported until a fee has been agreed. All this rumour, denial and speculation is just boring.
City apparently had 8m bid accepted for Patrick Roberts, young forward at Fulham.
Have to wonder why a player who has played a handful of games would want to move to city from Fulham... Move to mid table prem team? Yes likely to have a chance to play... Move to city? Loan him out a few years then sell him for 5m in 3/4 years time aka rodwell aka Sinclair
does he count as home grown?City apparently had 8m bid accepted for Patrick Roberts, young forward at Fulham.

city get a homegrown that they will never use, and the player gets better wages at a higher profile club.
be honest most of them don't give a ****e about game time now days its money first, trophies and game time 2nd.
The question is, what will he earn at Man City compared to a mid-table team? If it's significantly more, than I can understand it. We always knock the money-grabbing footballers, but if you're in that situation, it has to be something to consider.
