Well it wouldn't be a proper transfer window if we didn't gape their arsehole at least once would it?!
update from echo live stuff Those asking about Mateo Kovacic: to clarify - @LFC haven't made any bid for him and, as things stand, they have no interest either Dominic King ✔@DominicKing_DM you can all make of that what you will
****ing transfer windows!!!! so this goes from 'all but done' to no bid, no interest in a matter of days
of course we have no interest, he costs more than £10 mill lol we only buy cheap and cheerful now days
will be a god awful show.. his style is far to magazine and not enough fat man doing stupid things. bbc have panicked and shovelled money at him. I wonder how they balance a dilay radio show with tooling off to boreno on a 20 day shoot. anyway.... we will see.
These transfer windows get more and more annoying as they years go on. So much speculation and **** all actually happening cause the window is even open yet. For the future I'd like to see the window open the day after the CL final (which should be the last game of the European season) and transfers can't be reported until a fee has been agreed. All this rumour, denial and speculation is just boring.
City apparently had 8m bid accepted for Patrick Roberts, young forward at Fulham. Have to wonder why a player who has played a handful of games would want to move to city from Fulham... Move to mid table prem team? Yes likely to have a chance to play... Move to city? Loan him out a few years then sell him for 5m in 3/4 years time aka rodwell aka Sinclair
The question is, what will he earn at Man City compared to a mid-table team? If it's significantly more, than I can understand it. We always knock the money-grabbing footballers, but if you're in that situation, it has to be something to consider.
does he count as home grown? city get a homegrown that they will never use, and the player gets better wages at a higher profile club. be honest most of them don't give a ****e about game time now days its money first, trophies and game time 2nd.
Yes to homegrown. But at 18 surely someone should be advising him... i I think I could make a **** load of money being an agent and actually advising people properly. No don't go to city, play a full season at Fulham do well and we'll get you a move to mid table prem club next year. Do well there, in 2 years time can get you a big move... Oh and you'll still not be 21!
