I don't get Falcao's agent. Does he think we've not seen how **** he's been this season? That he can't get into the Man U team even when RVP is injured?
We play in the same dammed league, every Prem club has seen and is laughing at how much he is costing and would cost in wages and fee. Surely no Prem team would be daft enough to touch him after this season.
Better try Italy

mingolet.. cehc is coming..
Sterling chased for pics, rumours flying of anything and everything
Ibe chased
Henderson no contract

now add falcao in?

deffo destabilising rumours

He would buy out the last year , making next year his last unstead of second last. Therefore forcing lfc to offload on the cheap or lose him for free in 12 months.

He's not old enough (24+) for the buy out option

Article 17 of FIFA's Regulations for the Status and Transfer of Players is entitled "Consequences of Terminating a Contract Without Just Cause", and is the fifth article of Chapter IV, "Maintenance of Contractual Stability between Professionals and Clubs". It outlines the provisions which apply if a contract is terminated without just cause, and the requirement for the party in breach to pay compensation. Specifically, it states that any player who signed a contract before the age of 28 can buy himself out of the contract three years after the deal was signed. If he is 28 or older the time limit is shortened to two years. Article 17 was introduced in December 2004, with effect from 1 July 2005.

If Sterling wasn't 20 and British he would be worth £10-£15m tops, he's been so over-hyped and it's gone to his head

if markovic was 20mil then i think it depends what league he comes from for sure

if sterling was sterlovic playing in zargeb he's a 5mil risk to a lower prem team. From portugal as sterlinho he's worth about 20mil.

as he is sterling the english great he's 50mil

It is crazy.

Markovich is a bloody £8million player. max. Until we showed up. Even chelsea turned down buying him for their first refusal price of £13m - that's how little they rated him.

£5m if a 'ovic' but £50m if English?

By that theory, Markovic would have cost us £200m if English <yikes>

Some interesting comments from Tony Evans from the Times -

- All 3 Soton lads were Rodgers's choice, not the committee.

- Going forward, Rodgers will have less say in recruitment if he stays

- FSG still believe in the committee and that's the way forward

- Confirms that Rodgers was very close to the sack in Dec.

- BR is not deffo safe, and FSG maybe tempted by Klopp (I call that sitting on the fence!)

- Missing out on CL is a massive concern for FSG

- Concerns over Sturridge in that it's more mental than physical issues as to why Sturridge misses games.

Tony Evans was on TalkSport with all this this morning.

Pretty sure there was more than you've said but can't remember and can't be arsed to look it up.

He also claimed this back in November... http://talksport.com/football/shank...eal-issues-rodgers-has-liverpool-claims-evans

Edit...

He also said Can had done well this season but he's in no means a centre back and he's far too slow to play central midfield.

Can to slow? He's a really strong runner!
His acceleration isn't the best but once he gets going he's powerful <ok>
Still don't see what thats got to do with playing Midfield. Some of the best CM's have been fairly slow, Xavi, Alonso, Yaya are all slow starters (acceleration) but have been lauded as the best in the world at different times, and that just within the last 5years.

This is a major tactical flaw in the management if they think a CM is just someone who is supposed to run round like a headless chicken at full pelt.
And that doesn't explain the use of Lucas in the position Can would be employed, who by all accounts is alot slower than Can.

The only reason Can is being used at CB is because they others are either injury prone or just ****. Any other reason is just to save face that we haven't been able to buy a decent CB pairing over the last 3 seasons.

I presumed he meant slow in terms of thinking / reaction time.

I don't agree, I think Can will become a quality CM, I only pointed it out to put the things Jimmy reported (that coincidentally much his own opinions <whistle> ) into perspective. This guy is on TalkSport a lot but not entirely sure how legit the info he provides is. Bit like with RHCs mate, he may be told something but until the dotted line is signed...
