Immobile from Dortmund? He looked to be surplus after bit of a disappointing year at Dortmund.

Change of manager could go one of two ways there as well. Still young and is quick and powerful from what I've seen

    Liverpool

Liverpool have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca.

According to Metro, the Reds are monitoring the 28-year-old Colombian who would cost around £18m in the summer.

French forward Alexandre Lacazette however has poured cold water on a move linking him to Anfield.

"It is too early to speak about opportunities of leaving abroad. In any case, it will be a footballing decision," Lacazette told Le Progres.

"To go next season, that doesn’t interest me. I would like to sign a contract extension.

"I am good at Lyon, and if I feel that the project will continue advance, I can see myself staying. Even if we don’t win the Champions League."

Metro reports that Barcelona winger Pedro, who had attracted interest from Liverpool, looks set to move to Inter Milan instead this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is another transfer target who will snub a move to Liverpool.

The Uruguayantold Sky Italia: "There is too much talk about my future but I will remain here.

"I will respect my contract and I'm only focusing on doing well for PSG."

David Luiz’s mother defends son on Instagram after humiliation by Luis Suárez

David Luiz’s mother has responded to online criticism of her son following his performance in Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-1 Champions League defeat to Barcelona.

The Brazil international was twice humiliated by Luis Suárez in the quarter-final first leg, with Suárez nutmegging him on the way to scoring two brilliant goals at the Parc des Princes.

Reacting to the wave of criticism, David Luiz’s mother, Regina Célia, used her Instagram account to issue a public show of support, telling followers: “I have a son and I always will! His head held high, with a ball at his feet. God knows everything! Jesus is fighting for us until this day and yet we still have people who judge! Who are we to judge you! I will always love you after the good games, and even more after those that don’t go well!”

    SWEET MOTHER.

Not for me. Yes Dortmund have had a terrible year and even with Dortmunds slight recovery he's still not really banging them in, seems to have failed now that he's outside Italy and even in Italy he managed one good season in Serie A.
We know how poor strikers coming out of Italy are now, Balotelli anyone <whistle>

    Sorry but don't rate him.

They sort-of offered that with Lambert last season, so maybe.

Although that was more get 1 cheap, get 2 for really expensive.

If we sold Sterling for the quoted prices, then Lacazette and Depay should be the first two attackers we look to sign.

Which is why we should have targeted them last season instead of Lallana, Lambert and Balotelli.
