As much as we have a history for developng some greats. We really have rotted some too.
I still have a copy of Championship Manager 96/97 for the PC and load it up occassionally to relive the development of 21 year old Fowler, 16 year old Owen, Carragher et al. Quite often Partridge turns into a beast
