Wonder if there will be any changes in the Salah Konate situations now? Salah technically is still under contract.

That is the odd thing about Salah been no rumours of where he is going I do feel there were a lot looking to leave and maybe potential targets wouldn’t come if slot was still in charge. After this season I think it’s probably best for Salah to go
Elliot will return but what happens then who knows as it seems clear the club didn't think enough of him to release him from the Villa situation .That whole incident has damaged his career imo with the only positive being that he garnered a lot of praise for his attitude there despite the crap position he ended up in
the club could have brought him back when Villa said they wouldn't play him but didn't to save money .My guess we would accept offers for him but doubt we will get any that meet our valuation

No point bringing him back if slot wasn’t going to play him though was there.
If Slot wasn't going to play him, why not leave him there to save on wages? We couldn't sell him to anyone else in Europe and I doubt Harvey would go anywhere
I hope Salah doesn't decide to stay. At his peak he's been one of the best players we've had, but he's past that now, and his attitude this season has been petty and unprofessional.
I'd rather remember him for all the good times rather than see him decline further at the club.

Agreed, and imagine the circus and every pundits 2 pennies on the whole thing - sod that.
Time to move on and create a new era now
Bradley to be out for longer than expected. We need a RB as Frimpong is injury prone as well and not that good defensively.

Liverpool and Konate both confirmed will leave the club this summer.
Shame to lose on a free. Definitely hasn’t been his best this year and although has been helped playing alongside VVD for the last 5 years which makes anyone look better than they probably are, his physicality is well suited and will be a miss.

One of the reasons we bought Frimpong was because he was very resilient and pretty much never missed a game for Leverkusen. Maybe it was the adjustment to the PL and he'll be much more available next season.
Whoever come in as a coach, I really hope that they have a say in the type of signings that we bring in. If the new coach wants to play a high intense press, we need players who can cope with that and not break every two games. Also, buying the players for his preferred system. How many players look like a square peg? Finally, we need proper depth…..we’ve bought a lot of kids for the future…..not necessarily for today….So, while Slot is gone, if we don’t get the recruitment aligned, we will continue to struggle.
In terms of what we need:
A CB with pace to burn to replace Konate
A RB to replace our broken RB and wing back
A LB to replace Robbo
A proper #6 ffs

Konate seemingly agreed terms with Madrid. 2 days after saying didn’t know would be his last game for LFC has agreed to go there.
Doesn’t quite add up but there we go. I’m sure he’ll get the same reception as TAA if/when he returns. Which will be a very different reaction to Salah or Robbo if/when they return. Albeit Salah saying he won’t be back at Anfield for a while suggests maybe he’s going Saudi rather than anywhere in europe.
