On a serious note, where do you think Slot will play Wirtz?
Slobo, Grav and Mac Alister seemed to have the high mid positions sorted and you won the league without trying with that formation. Does Wirtz play slightly ahead of them as a faux striker or does Slobo drop out?
Would seem a risk to change a winning formation.
I think he'll play instead of Dom at times and left side at times. Depends on the game.

Did I say it was?

Well I’m not really sure what you’re talking about tbh.

Youre going on about religion but the point was that Guehi didn’t want to support the rainbow armband because he doesn’t believe in it.

Quote from his father… he could have easily come out and discredited that but instead stayed silent and instead tried to take the focus away from the rainbow flag but writing over the top of it. He had the chance to come out and clarify things but instead doubled down saying his I love Jesus message over the top was about inclusivity but in reality it wasn’t.

“If you look at what the LGBT community are doing, they are trying to impose on others what they believe in, it’s belief against belief, but at the end of the day everyone has the right to an opinion.”

Like I said, there is a lot of fans unhappy about him if he were to sign so would be interesting what kind of reaction he got.

As a 10. It seems a poorly kept secret that we will also spend big on a 9if we can. I think that Slot realised around the time of the Plymouth game that we were knackered and we didn’t have what he needed in depth to compete on all fronts

I think people are too fixated on 4-3-3 (Klopp was), or 4-2-3-1 (Slot's more preferred system?). I think we may play a diamond midfield in a 4-4-2, or even a 3-5-2 without a central striker. Flexibility is the key.

1. First bolded bit: You said Christians don"t get persecuted for being Christian. They do. That's why I've 'gone on about religion'. Saying things that are blatantly untrue will result in me correcting you because it falls outside of opinion. Tbh I can't believe you actually don't know that Christians are persecuted and killed simply for being Christian.
2. Guehi wore the rainbow armband and wrote an additional message. If that's not saying both groups LBGT and Christians all deserve support, I don't know what is. He could have refused to wear it. He didn't
3. Second bolded bit: So you're a mind reader?
4. If that quote is from his father then he's spot on. Looking at the social media posts, if you're calling someone an expletive because they have a different view then LGBT supporters are doing precisely that - trying to impose their views on everyone else.

You obviously have a problem with it. I don't. I'd far rather players weren't put in the position of having to wear any symbols that could be divisive in the first place. Given that they are, whatever the message they are being asked to promote and whether or not I personally agree with the message, I have no problem with someone who, having strong feelings to the contrary, refuse to wear it.

You.could literally line up any formation with this squad

343
352
4222
41212
433
4231
424
Take your pick.

You could drive szoboszlai and wirtz right down the middle as twin pressers with tow wide forwards if you wanted.

You could play a narrow 4222 with wirtz and szoboszlai with those two full backs we have

You really need to read the news more. 200 Christians, including children and the elderly have just been killed in Nigeria. It was a targeted attack.

According to the latest report (House of Commons Library, March 2025) "1 in 7 Christians worldwide live in situations with at least high levels of persecution and discrimination. In 2024, 4,476 Christians were killed for faith related reasons.

Historically, Christians have been the most persecuted group with an estimated 70,000,000 being killed worldwide. Two thirds of that number being in the last 100 years alone.

If you leave history aside, you can still read stories of current Christian persecution including the example above but add to that the people who've been arrested for silently praying in their head. The locations could be considered controversial but each of the arrests were on days when the streets were empty. Thought crimes?

I'm really not wanting to take this discussion any further because I don't see the point in creating division.

I hope we don't sign Guehi because I don't like him, in the same way I don't like Fernandes and Gabriel. Nothing to do with armbands or aspects of their personal lives just based on how their personalities come across on the pitch.
Also many Christians being killed in what was Syria,as was predicted by many during the western backed illegal invasion.
Many alawites as well unfortunately.

in England. I don’t see many Christian’s being abused and targeted in England in the same way gay people are?

We obviously have very different views, you have very fixed views on trans and gay rights which is your call. The fact you think lgbqt are trying to force their beliefs on people is insane but it is what it is. Sounding very republican where libraries and teachers aren’t allowed certain books for fear it’s going to make children gay <doh>
Majority want to be left alone and live their lives free from persecution but unfortunately not able to, hence we have things like pride month to help trying to ‘normalise’ it to people who see issue with it.

In my mind no one should be discriminated against based on who they are, we’re all just people born on earth and should treat everyone equally.

Apparently Guehi doesn’t believe this and chose to make a statement by drawing attention away from what rainbow armband is meant to be doing. A lot of people are not a fan of his because of this so there will be a lot of noise if lfc actually go after him.

I'm sorry but this is made up nonsense.

There were 702 reported crimes against Christians in England and Wales in 2024.

If you know what my views on gay issues are, please tell them back to me because I'm unaware that I've ever expressed them here. You're doing what several people have done to me and presumed my beliefs.

What you've aimed at me, I'm aiming straight back at you. "You have very fixed views on trans and gay rights ...."

The bolded bit sounds nice and all but you don't really mean it. You're quite happy to discriminate against people who don't agree with you.

People have different opinions. You would do well to learn to accept that like I have. I truly believe it which is why I don't get personal or agitated when someone has a different view. Nobody has exclusivity on the right way to think.

Can't stand him.

Espn pundits are gash

Man never has a good word to say about his former club the miserable jock batard

He's like Scholes at utd.

Whether he felt owed something by the club when he finished or what it was (he was a raging alcoholic after 1989) i don't know but I would say this.

If he was just another pundits from another club I'd call him every name under the sun cos he just has a go for everything.
