Playing him 65k a week really cost us but we scraped a long fee here and a loan fee there and now 3million apparently.

Should have been sold for 8mil 3 years ago. We seemed very insistent on getting the max out of him back then and priced him out.

We priced a lot of players out then

Most people are of the opinion that he was going to come good. He eventually failed to make the grade.

Well I wasn't but I respected his heart when on the pitch.

He was.never getting 65k a week anywhere else so he priced himself out of the market as well and jobbed about on loans.

The difference imo between markovic (who did the same on.20k a week) and nat was work ethic once he got a club to go to.

What someone believes in religious wise is entirely up to them.. but comparing it to gay rights isn’t the same thing. No one is persecuting Christian’s for being Christian’s…

I could be wrong as a IBWT thinks it’s slightly different but I remember all sorts of stuff being out there when he was at Napoli ? I thought we had been in for him before and something stopped it
Either way - I don’t think he is the right one for us but if he comes I will back him

No good cutting a mil off mate it's still stupid money.
Will give an opinion Vs Antony at the end of the season.
We have seen what one did so let's see how the other does.

On a serious note, where do you think Slot will play Wirtz?
Slobo, Grav and Mac Alister seemed to have the high mid positions sorted and you won the league without trying with that formation. Does Wirtz play slightly ahead of them as a faux striker or does Slobo drop out?
Would seem a risk to change a winning formation.

That's the kind of question to answer AFTER seeing who else we sign. If we sign a striker I'm going to expect something different than if we don't. Without a striker I almost expect to see him as the front prong on a modern variant of the 4-4-2 diamond. If we sign a striker I'm going to expect a 4-2-3-1 with Wirtz playing in the middle behind the striker.
