Never really know how to feel on it. Would the player want to come back? If it was the same manager that sold him, would player want to return and play under them? Maybe still hold a grudge?

I guess depends how they left and how relationship with manager was and if was very mutual or led from players side.

Quite possible,hence the ?......LFC will know the score,I still think we will buy outside of those names.
 
I believe we've been 'monitoring' Guehi for a couple of seasons now, but this emphasises why. And also why we probably won't get rid of Joe yet, unless we can steal Branthwaite from the ****e.

should point out that includes Quansah so it HG becomes even lower which is why i ,unlike quite a few on here , don't think Morton will be sold .

Morton is irrelevant tbh

Grav Mac Szobo Wirtz Jones Endo. 6 players competing for 4 spots, that’s without Elliott. No need to keep Morton to be 7h choice.

But his HG status doesn’t mean anything when he has 6 players ahead of him. No point keeping him just to make up an 8th home grown when might as well sell and just have 24 man squad if that’s an issue.

Remember we don’t have to have 8 home grown, you just can only have max of 17 foreign.

That's not how it works.

Wirtz is 10 and only 10
Slobo can play 10 and 8 only
Endo is an unwanted 6 to compete with gravenberch only.
Macca can compete for any position

Jones is **** in every position

So really for slot its maybe 5 for 3 spots but in reality it's 4 into 3 with a couple of players he doesn't want

You still need a squad.

I do agree though, slot has no interest in morton.

If lfc can get a half decent euros out of him and sell him to 10 it'd be great.

Quansah off Elliott presumably off add Morton to that and it would be a 23 man squad .

Yes, but he could in good faith say "I'm not coming if I'm just going to sit on the bench". It's reasonable for him to expect some game time... How much would depend on what he earns in performance but not unfair for him to say "I'm only coming if I'm not expected to be a sub all season long".

Lb. Kerkez, Robertson or tsimikas
Cb. konate, Gomez
Cb. Vvd, ?
6. Gravenberch, Endo (this doesn't cut it)
8. Macallister, Jones (again not good cover)
10. Wirtz, Szoboszlai (prob got to 8 too)
Rw. Salah, ?
Cf. ? Jota (assume.nunez goes)
Lw. Gakpo, Diaz

I am assuming chiesa and nunez and Elliott and one lb go. That's all the talk.

Morton would likely never play unless endo left, which he seems to be refusing to do.

For me a 9 and a cb are now a must.

Szoboszlai can also cover rw as can Diaz, we can't just use Szoboszlai to cover every position but we cant not cash in on Elliott as he is not a rw either.
