I've.been on about lb for 2 years. He has lost stamina and frankly slot has been standing him.in a 3 amd letting the rb go on to keep.him going. I'd 100% agree thst I'd rather Robertson for 20(not 30) games next season than tsimikas as I think the Greek is pretty useless. Robertson has been caught.so.many times behind the cbs buying himself space, he is no better than trent at the back post and he never blocks a cross. Oh and his shooting is tragic. But yeah, I love robbo and do hope he can see put his contract at least
I did not know Frimpong was HG! I read up on it, and he was born in Holland then moved to the UK at 7. Obviously knew he was ex City, but there you go. Thanks for that.
Oh come on, I know he's not the Robbo of 5 years ago, but even your granny having a stroke and falling out of her wheelchair is better than Trent at the back post. There's no need to exaggerate.
Who is going to pay over the odds to Newcastle for Alexander Isak?. £150m. Certainly not me. https://www.footballinsider247.com/newcastle-to-accept-150m-bid-for-alexander-isak/
I have heard a lot of talk about him over the last few years but I’ve not seen him play. How good is he and how well will his personality fit in with us?
Ekitike is the obvious link Osimhen is the obvious nunez swap. Isak is just desperate for a deal. The talk is from his agent
Victor Osimhen is going to go to the tournament of AFCON in January. To me, that makes him uncomfortable.
I’ve seen all three play on TV but don’t really have an idea on how well they’d all fit into a Slot system, other than Isak - who would be perfect - but he is out of reach imo.
I think the Osimhen attitude stuff is a bit over the top. Seems to be a common held belief but then have never actually heard any of clubs team mates or fans ever moan about him. Was loved by the fans in turkey by all accounts and wouldn’t blame him if he kicked up a fuss at Napoli given the racist social media stuff from his own club that he has to put up with.
The buy-back clause is a good deal, if he turns out to be the player we hope then being able to get him back is invaluable
Shame about Quansah. He looked like really had chance to step up and challenge Konate but he does have a mistake in him. Has a bad habit of running into crowded midfield. lacking a bit of pace but only a young CB and going to be first choice for a couple of years will really help his development. A shame as always hoping the local lads and once from academy progress but who knows, in couple years when vvd is coming to an end, might be a great option to buy back for £50m being twice the player that left.
Is he going there on a 767? They really are uncomfortable planes. I flew on one of those to Cape Verde a few times - 6 1/2 hours. Felt like Steven Hawking when I got off.
