Look it's like kuyt. Kuyt was never fast, nor anything like fast but he was effective.

When he finally got so slow it was ridiculous he moved on from the prem but still managed a good later career.

Salah needs to now adapt from being a run behind on the break using pace type place to being that passer and hipd the ball and make good passes..

It sounds like Pochettino wasn't entirely happy either and was fairly ambivalent about staying PR going. And the main footballing decisions apparently are made by Behdad Eghbali, so not sure how much it was Boehly's decision.

But agreed it looked like Pochettino was finally starting to sort them out a bit.

Maybe Poch wanted to go - there are a couple of jobs coming up that he might find more appealing than working with a nutjob like Boehly.
 
The 'mutual consent' explanation is there for a manager to hide behind who's been sacked or a club's board who's been told 'I'm not happy here, see ya'.

What I think happened, as I was saying on the Chelsea and PL boards is that he was called in to an end of season meeting and told that the club plans to sell Gallagher and Chalobah from under him and he decided that the board are ****ing insane to sell these players and stick with absolute chaff like Enzo and Mudryk so they mutually agreed to pull the plug on his contract. That is what I think happened.
And good on him.
We are heading for disaster and there are plenty of big jobs opening up in Europe this summer, Bayern needs a coach, Juventus too, maybe even Man United, so wtf would he stay at a club who is looking to sell all the good players from his squad?

Yeh, someone on here said earlier that in order to balance the books, it's likely that players he wanted to keep are going to be sold. The amount of managers you get through is insane. Heard Tuchel could be back <whistle>

But it’s fine cos you’ve brought a 17 year old from Brazil for £40m who can’t move for another year to along with the other Ecuadorean 16 year old that will be there in 2 years time.

They "buying for the future", which is a load of horseshit.
Plus they want a child to be the manager, someone in their 30's, which again is ridiculous, but our owners are terminally stupid.

Hard to imagine how Boehly ever got rich in the first place - he doesn't appear to know how things work.
At least Roman's gangster route to riches was easy to see.

I think mutual consent merely means that they arranged the pay off already and that is that.

In the end he only signed for 2 years so I'm sure chelsea have paid him off and don't fell the need to have some dispute over what thst pay off is. Maybe they've arranged a 6 month of wages and agreed he can work straight away.

In the end it is a sacking.

It's a face-saver for both parties; Rafa being another example when he left us.

Yeah. It's a sacking, it's not like klopp who's decided he's done here. Thr club are saying get lost really but the manager is very happy to go and take the deal on offer.

I think mid season you see less of the mutual consent being mentioned but a lot of them are agreeing the pay off as well.

It's only thr really nasty break ups thst see a manager told his gate pass is revoked and to get lost. In those cases the money can go to court. Like conte.
