I was just going with Newcastle players as per the talk of them failing FFP and needing to sell.

He's arse wouldn't even be parked on a bench this weekend. He's been loved and minded by us through his worst times of injury and family.

Repayment? I want to go and be selfish.

OK mate. Go sit in the stand if you like v wolves but don't come to the after party.

I'd ask 120mil out of barca as the starting point just to sicken them. I'd actually take 70mil all day as I really don't think he is going to improve from here.
 
We have very little deadwood in the squad... we also have very little outstanding talent that can't be replaced. Becker at this point is the only player on the squad who couldn't be replaced if a big enough offer came in.

I feel like we've got good players and good cover for every position, but no-one is super special.

Deadwood is funny that it's already dead before it's recognised as such

Adrian is a waste of a foreign player slot and going. Klopp liked the lad and having him round. Jaros for example could take thst slot for free and is hg. Davies could take a slot.

Matip is always injured. We enjoy him when fit and running forward but there's been too many games where he's unfit and won't make a tackle, never.mind being totally unfit

Phillips is a journeyman who should have gone years ago but is on too high a wage

Tsimikas imo is dead wood. At his best his defending is suspect. Corssing and corners are great but that's not why he gets a squad place is it?

Not really any midfield left to be deadwood just now but there's a lot that are too similar a player imo and some will become deadwood as a result. Just won't play.

Jota is becoming an issue we all like him but he's injured a lot.

Then there's the guys who might well be too big for their boots and want to leave. Diaz, konate nunez? The types who were never going to be looked at by thr clubs they want to joined but about 5mins after arriving here they started thinking they were stars it seems.

We are doing fine over all.

We have options in the squad but need real quality and find the balance that has been missing for 2/3 years.

Our best seasons had a fitter and more hard nosed misfield and a firing front line.

We never replaced wijnalduk who was a strong and secure player but a bit of a ball hog. Mac is the closest

We have not replaced fabinho who fell off the cliff and retired to sandy climes. Endo is not thst good.

We've not replaced Henderson as he aged out as szobo is a forward.

I really think slot will want a partner for macca and will push szoboszlai to 10.

The forwards will need work next so we will be scratching round to find defenders imo.

Agree. I know been the debate about thiago on this board for last few years but when he was fit he was an absolute joy to watch and gutted we didn’t get to see him more and in his prime. Not a bad career at Barca Bayern and Liverpool.
