You thought they would have had someone fly out to Portugal and speak to him and try and keep it hush hush even if Moyes has been told he won’t be there next season.

Getting ridiculous how? The club are in middle of a title race and still have a manager and all other managers are most likely at clubs focussing on their own teams before season ends.

Lfc have always done their business behind closed doors the last 7/8 years and edwards was forefront of that so not a huge surprise that no real leaks are coming out. If the press havent a clue what’s happening that’s normally a really good sign.

Was going to say all I’ve seen is a picture saying Almiron flying to England for suspected talks with West Ham.. but absolutely nothing since then. You’d think would be pictures of him with West Ham officials if it was the case. Maybe it’s the press putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 - wouldn’t be the first time.

Would be like the London press to think everything is about them as well.

Perhaps he flew to London because he fancied some fish and chips.

Yes, but Jose is not one of the decent choices. He would probably be the last man I would want.

I would stop watching Liverpool until he were fired.
 
I don't know who will be replacing Klopp, but I'd be surprised if, after 6 months of FSG knowing Klopp was leaving, we don't have someone else lined up now.

It looks like we swung and failed for Alonso so we would have moved for our second choice. That might be Amorim, it might be someone else. The press seems to think Amorim.is our second choice, but there hasn't been any evidence that's who FSG want... He just seems to be the universally agreed best choice after Alonso so they presume that's who we are after.

For all we know, FSG is trying to bring Paul Jewel out of retirement. ( they're not... I'm Just making point that there is no evidence who they want to sign: Amorim links so far have had no weight to them)
 
I'm getting shades of when Martinez was photographed with John Henry stateside and the ensuing - yes I was offered the job .... no you weren't offered the job ...
 
Tinfoil is the last Dutch Manager to come to the Premier League, and he’s not exactly lit himself up in Glory. At least with Amorim he won the Premier Liga with Sporting in 20-21 after nearly 20 years without a title and looking at the current table he’s going to win it again, so that would be 2 in 4 years for the the third best club.
