I was willing to give Woy a chance, but what swung it for me was the time he said we (the fans) should accept that we were an upper mid-table team and not expect too much.TBF, none of us wanted Woy but a think a few were willing to give him a chance once appointed. It just didn't last long, especially after announcing how good a friendship he had with whiskey nose.
Someone at work mentioned Klopp turning to international football but I think he'd struggle. He needs time with the players to work in his method, you don't get that with international football. Can counter that with his man management though I suppose, can't think of many better than him at that.
That lack of ambition is indefensible.
Take your point about Klopp and managing national teams, but I still think he could get a better tune out of England than Southgate.
It would be a criminal waste of his talents though, imo.
