TBF, none of us wanted Woy but a think a few were willing to give him a chance once appointed. It just didn't last long, especially after announcing how good a friendship he had with whiskey nose.

Someone at work mentioned Klopp turning to international football but I think he'd struggle. He needs time with the players to work in his method, you don't get that with international football. Can counter that with his man management though I suppose, can't think of many better than him at that.
I was willing to give Woy a chance, but what swung it for me was the time he said we (the fans) should accept that we were an upper mid-table team and not expect too much.
That lack of ambition is indefensible.
Take your point about Klopp and managing national teams, but I still think he could get a better tune out of England than Southgate.
It would be a criminal waste of his talents though, imo.

If Xabi Alonso is appointed, Mikel Arteta still with Arsenal , and Manchester City are not relegated. I hope there would be healthy compilation in the Premier league with three Spanish managers.

I was angry at the appointment, but willing to forgive if he did well and give him a chance since he was what we had been granted.

I quick grew disappointed in him... but the moment you list above is when he went from merely a "bad manager " to "a villain" and I wanted him out, no matter what.

I would have given him a chance but that disappeared the moment he spunked a shed load of wages on that spoofer Cole

does it matter? Christain purslow had basically boasted that he pursued and signed joe cole as his own personal ego trip.
he didn't pick the team Hodgson did and he included that ****ing spoofer in it regularly when his debut showed exactly why he shouldn't .I never wanted him and quite early one he demonstrated why as instead of just passing the ball simply with his right foot he decided to do a rabona pass and hit it straight out of play <grr>

I personally think that woy never actually happened. It's just one of those rare nightmares that we all had concurrently and woke up believing it was real.

When Rafa stopped managing Liverpool we went straight to Klopp. None of those in-between managers were real.... Except Kenny briefly.

That would mean Suarez never happened

In a story that is almost certainly untrue because we wouldn't spend this much not knowing who the new manager is yet...

... Apparently we're spending £100m to buy Bowen this summer.
