So Tyler Adams obviously available at 20m.
Only 24. Played for a red bull team so has right sort of pedigree. Full of energy. Maybe not quite set world alight but experienced enough to be an option but not too old that can get good few years out of him with some resale value.

Wouldn’t want to be the only midfield signing but wouldn’t be a horrible option to bring in as a henderson type replacement.

Got to say, I've thought similar. If we're wanting to sign two, why not?

No such thing as a verbal contract, y'know? Better Call Diego said so... :emoticon-0143-smirk
How do you define the terms and conditions in a verbal contract?
Try selling a car mate and a prospective buyers say's "yeah, i'll have it for £5k" or what ever then when he phones you the next day saying he has found a better one for £4k, sorry mate.
Verbal contract <laugh>

One thing I don't get. All the 'journalist' have Chelsea bidding £115m. Why the extra £4m?
The current price is £111m, its not like Brighton are going to reject Chelsea if they match and if they were £4m is hardly going to convince them otherwise.
Its nonsensical

Nobody has a clue whats going on and as soon as these jounos admit that the world will be a better place.

You got your replies this morning. You were wrong, provably, and utterly hosed. It was another Lossiemouth moment, and you know it. :emoticon-0139-bow:

I still think a cheeky £120m bid would be hysterical now. We have the liquid cash and FFP wiggle room to go up to £250m if Brighton want us to. Boehly can't back down now. Perhaps it would force Caicedo to put in a transfer request and forego his sell-on cut. There's more fun to had here now, especially when they buy Lavia and we have nothing to lose. :emoticon-0103-cool:

How do you prove a "verbal contract" in court?

Recordings, and associated documentation. We did all this last night and other posters showed you legal experts quoting legal torts and precedent. I know you think you can just keep repeating things like a pissed-up Furby and this will go on till 4am, but it won't. I just you refer you, and anyone else looking in, to view the conversation from last night from 4am onwards. :emoticon-0148-yes:

That would be hilarious if the player said yes, you would be ****ed for the next two windows <laugh>

So not verbal only then?

Who said it was, you utter plum? Brighton held a very public auction. Brighton released a statement that Liverpool had won. The parties spoke to each other. You're clutching straws again with your facile and futile attempts at semantics. Again. And again. And ****ing rinse and repeat. :emoticon-0113-sleep
