We should have had this purchase wrapped up weeks ago or walked away and focused elsewhere.
Instead we ****ed around signing a bunch of 18 year olds who wont feature for years, if ever, and Tyler ****ing Adams all whilst trying to lowball Brighton for Caicedo.
If we lose Caicedo to Liverpool its no ones fault but our board.
I guess its up to the player now

He's yours to lose. Our clusterfuck has not been checking with the player he'd come to us if we put that bid in. You could see from Klopp's conference this morning that he knows the player isn't coming, despite the emphasis on the clubs agreeing terms. He's made it pretty clear he doesn't want to come to us - but there's a lad at Soton who does whom we've pissed on. You will come out of all this a lot better than us, for sure.
Aye, now Brighton might refuse to deal with us unless we match your offer, and Caicedo will be stuck at Brighton and likewise Lavia now might tell you to do one, now that you basically showed him he was your Plan B.
Neither of us might end up with our targets now.
