I think he’s better than anything chelsea currently have up top. Will contribute goals but he also now needs to become the main man up there and won’t get as good a service and tap ins at the back post like he would get from city’s style.
Intrigued how he and chelsea like up as in their current formation, they normally play 2 behind the front man more centrally.
Not sure if my memory serves me right here... he played just behind Saurez & Studge for us didn't he?
In a brief spell yeah and then the next season as false 9 in a 343 almost type thing rodgers lucked into and he absolutely stunk the place out when it suited him to force a move.
He can go **** himself for eternity for the deliberate lack of effort at times
you’re not keen then?
In theory right now spurs and cheslea have "improved" so that's the top 4 cementing itself as arsenal and utd have not improved much yet.
That's the market theory.
In theory city are not as good a squad now. But we expect lots of.movement before September.
They've lost their top goal scorer and best defender Rudiger and Christensen. Do the transfers in strengthen them?Sterling is decent enough when he has no time to think - when he has time, he tends to make poor decisions. Has always been that way but that doesn’t mean that he’s poor. Not by any means and I think that he’s a good signing for Chelsea. As is koulibaly. And don’t forget they get i Gallagher back from Palace who I thought was decent last season - basically, I think they’ll be strong next year.

That was the purpose of the question.
He's worked very hard to create a persona using certain things that he can campaign on but he is what he is. A money hungry short cut taker.
Certain thing have happened to him which are disgusting which shouldn't happen to anyone so I reserve my disgust for his oil doping money and faux medals.![]()
Then you should have said "who is it a good move for?"
My answer... Man City!

Didn't he also jip a tour saying he was ill ?In a brief spell yeah and then the next season as false 9 in a 343 almost type thing rodgers lucked into and he absolutely stunk the place out when it suited him to force a move.

No, he was ill so missed itDidn't he also jip a tour saying he was ill ?

Don’t get the hate on sterling. Guy moved from a club that wasn’t quite competing at the top to s team where he has won multiple cups and 4 league titles.
Fully justified. And he went for a large fee, not like he ran down he contract to leave for cheap
