Not going to happen this window unfortunately. Dortmund not selling after losing one of their brightest already this Summer. Looks like we will have a fight to get him next Summer, will cost a lotespecially when we sign Bellingham next week![]()

I think its a great deal.
I think he's another warnock who will ook back at his career with some regret at having left us. he will do well to stay in the prem imo. Proved himself at fulham so hopefully has secured a good contract with forest that will set him up for life.
In the end we knew he was off 18months ago in truth and have got a good loan in and then a best price situation.
the reality is klopps looked back at his bench for a trent option and went gomez not williams and any time we've a cup game he's injured etc. we've now bought 2 young rbs as we have the trent is too good issue and now 1 is already on loan again
Why would he regret leaving us. He could stay his whole career and he’ll only ever be second choice behind TAA.
cos he'll be stat with his championship medal, 6 game prem medal a dn couple of early rounds league cup medal to look back on whereas trent obviously will have multiples of every medal as klopp goes on to dominate england and europe.
they ALL look back having left the biggest, craziest club on the planet and miss the adulation, atmosphere and even when we were not winning medals very very very few every won more elsewhere.
Are you having a mane relapse? So he should stay and warm the bench for the whole of his career? He is a footballer. He's supposed to play football.cos he'll be stat with his championship medal, 6 game prem medal a dn couple of early rounds league cup medal to look back on whereas trent obviously will have multiples of every medal as klopp goes on to dominate england and europe.

So you’re annoyed at him for celebrating winning a prem title and cups with little involvement.
but at same time you think he shouldn’t leave to get first team football and should stay so that he can play a bit part in anymore wins?
makes perfect sense
I have more respect for a player who is willing to take a step down to try and establish himself as a first choice player than one who is happy to receive medals for playing the occasional game .
so if through playing regular PL football he does well at Forest and then gets a move to a big club here or abroad why would he regret it as a career stalled now often doesn't take off as it might have done .But what about one that didn't try where he was and then made it clear he'd jump ship?
A lot of players have to move to give themselves any shot. Coady.
Some players need a loan to get a shot at their own club. Mount
Some players see the trying on the wall after trying everything and have to move. Abraham
Its the very rare few that make the break though early and drive on. TAA.
TBH the point is he'll regret it. not respect.

That's not a bad way of looking at it. I would argue that it doesn't apply to goalkeepers though.I have more respect for a player who is willing to take a step down to try and establish himself as a first choice player than one who is happy to receive medals for playing the occasional game .
He's playing his cards close to his chest on this one because he wouldn't have been in for Tchouameni otherwise.Jurgen Klopp defends his midfield
Jurgen Klopp doesn't understand where the calls for Liverpool to sign a new midfielder have come from as links to Jude Bellingham continue.
“I don’t think something will happen in midfield, but you never know. If somebody comes to you and says ‘I want to go’… but nobody came to me yet."
