Day 6 in the big nunez house.

Jimmy was giving it large about journos being right

Degio was trying to get a rise but had an epic fail on lfc nike deal while ignoring mane's 4 interviews total that he shat the bed in.

Zanjinho compares nunez to fekir

Milk decides torture dungeons is preferable to sitting round waiting for nunez to show up.

Excited to see who Nunez fits in. Playing him as a 9 will hopefully make it easier for Trent and Robbo to whip in those crosses, and Salah can link up with a target man. Diaz is more a traditional wide man compared to how Mane used to play as well.

I certainly think he will play in that central role. I do think that its not all change here. both diaz and salah are set up to come infield so OVERLAPPING runs from CM or full back are the other fo the day still and i can see nunez not simply playing between the lines of the 6 yard box and just occupying a CB.

Jota, Nunez, Salah and diaz. Bobby as a reserve for a while and some kids maybe coming in like carvalho and gordan means we are wll able to bin off mane without a second thought.

I really liked what i saw of this lad when we played them. I think he will suit the prem.

Onto CM next. Its all about balance for me there. We need to be thinking 60mins out of thiago next season and bring someone in big time to compete with fabinho/thaigo for time. elliott for RCM if he can give a big preseason.

You do know that you get an agreed set price from shirt manufactures at the beginning of each season (or maybe the length of agreement) and after that they get all the profits?

I think it’s a joke because so many people talking about the 100m price

I really hope we get more than 60 minutes out of Thiago next season.

Except they don't. We have a special deal with Nike in that we get £30m per year plus 20% merchandising royalty on every branded item sold worldwide which takes the deal to an estimated £70m. (According to Swiss Ramble)

At £50 a shirt, we make £10 profit on every sale so it's easy to work out how many Nunez shirts we'd have to sell in order for the sales to have paid for him :bandit:

even if we sold a million shirts (which I sincerely doubt) and make £20 a shirt (which I sincerely doubt), it’d only cover what he cost for the next 12m

I think it's 5%. So far less than £20 a shirt.

Ok... I'm wrong. 20%. That's far closer to the £20 a shirt than my 5% guess.

If we sell Minamino (hope we don't) for rumoured £17m and Neco for £15m that's almost one Mané.
We are already close to signing Nunez and Ramsey which could end up being near £100m if Mane stays i fail to see how we afford another midfielder and personally .
Oh and next season we would be losing Salah and Mane for nowt .
