Origi, Mini, Mane... Lots of rumours of Ox leaving. Neco Williams leaving.

That's five. Have I missed any? And that's if Salah doesn't leave.

Incoming we have probably Darwin. Probably Calvin Ramsey. And Fabio Carvalho.

That's five out and three in... Although we got Diaz in winter which evens it out a bit if we consider him.

I do think (and hope) there's another midfielder coming in. Won't be Tchouameni... And sounds like won't be Gavi(n) anymore.
Phillips? Several leaving out of contract which frees up wages.

tbf you might as well say what is the point in discussing our style of play or particular tactics / players .
Yeah, but we all have a fair bit of knowledge of how the game is played (or think we do) whereas I doubt many of us have a clue about the club's finances.
I'm happy to let the powers-that-be decide on how we spend - they seem to be doing ok atm.

How do people feel about going for Kalvin Phillips, City are supposed to be after him. He would certainly strengthen our midfield.

Meh. Don’t see big fuss over him tbh. Can’t see what he’ll add to our team that isn’t already there, plus would be massive cost with english tax on it.

Hee HAW!

thats how i feel.

26, not that tall, bit of a henderson wannabe in that he runs about a bit.

I wouldn't be exactly that interested in him... but then rice is just as overbloated and expensive.

phillips likely to be loaned back to bournemouth which IMO is a bloody cheek of them. he is signed up to 2025 so we wanted 15mi and bournemouth
are just back in on loan. Its likely we will accept a bid somewhere

Williams, mooted to fulham but again fulham will likely try to go cheap so we could screw them over. 15mil minimum.

Minamino. Monaco are now loaded and meant to be looking (wild specualtion) 17mil is out quoted number

Mane - shat the bed - 35 mil or something to some nobodies.

Origi gone

Ox - nobody wants him.

Karius Gone

Adrian - unknown

Kellher - mouthed off recently on international duty - may be angling for a loan.... need to be careful with that.

Ben davies is the man you all forget. who the **** wants him?

Van den berg likely to return from preston a hero and worth all of 2 bob.

however its done i think its interesting that we will declare a 30mil profit on Mane once he goes as he would have been written down over this contract already (on second deal?) so even though 6 years ago we paid 34mil for him its now pure gravy.

Thanks to Tobes for this. such a terrible thing he's not here to put us right.

Mane wouldn't be zero on the books.

£34m initially over five years = £6.8m per season. If he signed a new deal after three years; he'd be £13.6m in the accounts at that point. If he signed a three year deal, that £13.6m is split over those three years (£4.5m per season).

If he were to leave in the final year of that second contract, he'd be on the books as a £4.5m asset. Pocket changed really but not zero.

I don't know when the contract was renewed etc so the above is just an example. Theatrically, can never be zero.

Unless Salah is going why?

Backup. All our others are better left or centre.
And Salah is going. This summer or next. Maybe they want him now so the post-Salah transition is more seem less.

Dunno.... But would be surprised to see two forwards come in in one window both for over £60mill, but could happen.

I don't think we'll see two forwards either. Think Klopp likes one at a time; get that one player our way before starting on the next. Incoming players learn from those already there
I wonder if he's ripped up his rule book because things feel a bit different this window.

Nice summary.
