I agree with all of this except the bolded bit. It will take a really special manager to replicate what Klopp has done in terms of simultaneously developing individual players and an unstoppable team.

Klopp definitely helps, massively helps. But the transfer setup is better regardless.

Only once Klopp leaves will we really see how good the structure is :)

Whilst I think our recruitment is fantastic (when we actually decide to buy players), Klopp certainly gets more out of them and let's be honest, he's working on pennies compared to other clubs.

Let's see if the new manager comes in and can make do with 1/2 signings every 2-3 years.

I think thre biggest change wad the approach to the transfer committee.

The mixed bag of bollocks with said committee and Brod was never going to work; buying a bit of what each party wanted.

Now, all signings are part of the same project. That's because the manager gets the final say (whether that is Klopp or someone else doesn't matter too much)

yep, saw an interview a long time ago saying that he insisting on having the first and last say - so basically, this is what I want….go get him. Klopp is the key to everything good we do.

He'll have to - unless we're bought out by some dodgy dictator somewhere, and I really sincerely hope we don't go down that road.
I think Klopp is the glue that has made all this stick and I do worry about what happens when he leaves. He'd better bag a couple more bigguns before he goes to keep us going for a while.

You're right but getting the right players is only half of the equation.

I think Ljinders will be the next manager so it won't be long before he's adept at it.

Equally, Klopp can't say he wants a player and we have to sign him. It's a joint decision.

Peeps need to wonder about the money and where it goes.

The anfield Road end is the cost of alisson or vvd. The training ground was a keita.

Elliott and Jones cost nothing really and are worth 30mil a price right now.

Jota was 45mil, konate 36, thiago 20 something.

The fact is we have a full squad as we have been though many times. I'd perfer to see origi out and a new forward in just for the work ethic and competition . I still don't see the need for more cms but I do see a lack of balance with only 1 fabinho type player

Only one Thiago type player too <ok>

Midfield also lacks pace, generally.

agree about Origi

Yeah, pace is a bit of an issue with the brexit midfield.

My favourite midfielder was alonso cos he would just drop in and cover if anyone ran on like matip does. Fabinho does it sometimes but Henderson, milner et al would just leave the whole pitch wide open. Thiago is very good at being with play not ahead of it and drive people on with his pass. I don't think I've seen him pass behind anyone ever.

Yes, Thiago assists the assister…the pass before the assist and he is very good at it and keeping the ball moving. Zero pace.

Alonso was excellent. Also had no pace lol.

Liverpool target Karim Adeyemi has opened the door on a switch to Merseyside after admitting he feels "honoured" to be linked with a big-money January transfer. The Red Bull Salzberg striker has already notched 12 goals in just 17 games so far this term.

He looks like an exciting talent but I think he wants to stay in Germany so Bayern or Dortmund are most likely to get him.

I actually don't know who or when we will sign someone. I fear any money we do have will go to the stadium expansion and Salah's contract.

Salzburg is in Austria, but he himself is German so maybe he's homesick. Has he made noises about not wanting to go further afield?
The Tielemans rumour seems to be the one that won't go away atm, but who knows? We're linked with everybody.

I really want Raphinha as our attacking option. Think he could be special.
