And the real story breaks.

Odengaard from real to arsenal for a very.miserly 30mil. Suggests that real are in some trouble. Clearly not as bad publically as barca but that's a cut price deal. I was not impressed with him when we played them but he has talent.

Coutinho into that side makes zero sense. Zero.

Saka, odengaard and Smith rowe as all kids playing behind a striker. Add pepe and add in aubameyang wanting to start on left and you find a massive glut of talent.

Coutinho story is just another barca advert begging anyone to come take him. They got it wrong on timing today.

personally think it is a waste of their resources as imo Smith- Rowe was the more impressive of the 2 and that £30m could be better spent elsewhere though the best use would be to pay off Arteta and get an actual manager in.

Arsenal are utterly useless at playing out from the back - but they keep giving it a go, get hemmed in and give the ball away all the time. I can't see how more attackers are going to help at all.
Oh, and to add to their woes they've just extended Xhaka's contract.

RM paid 3 or 4 million Euros for him so its quite a lucrative deal for them.

He's clearly not going to become the player some suggested he would.

He looked lightweight and not able for the pace when we played them. He was a passenger really.

Yes its a good profit but is not 50mil min like they might have thought to get. Who knows, maybe after zidane he no longer has big supporters in the camp?

totally agree.

Even trying to think of a 343 formation to cover up their disaster zones its not great.

Its all over the place. I agree get shut of arteta and go buy a manger to try get some shape on this.

the lack of confidence and belief was clear to see once brentford scored.

Saka is absolutely wasted there. I can see city moving for him next.
 
On the above topic of Arsenal, Ramsdale didn't play for Sheff U tonight (they got hammered, double relegation for them imo). Looks like he'll be on the move soon.

Can't see the point myself as he's dogshite. But not my club so :rolleyes:

they might as well admit they want him out and haaland in and be done with it.

As for him, unless he is on a free its a bad joke to expect anyone will pay 100mil for a 33 year old.

But you can understand from Bayern pov. Guy scored 54 goals last year, how do you replace that without spending 100m?

however that nobody else's problem but theirs. It all players age out. you cannot expect to have someone else fund your purchase of the next big thing can you?

Its his own fault anyway if he "wants a new challenge" he signed his last contract and should be happy with it.
