Seems to me a West ham or villa type move ought to be where he is pitching himself.

Not really transfer related but Liverpool refused to allow konate and Salah to attend Olympics so will be ready for start of season with us. Good stuff that

Just been watching Redmen tv podcast and they had an interesting take on transfers. They reckon that Klopp needs to see Virgil, Gomez and Matip in preseason to see where they are up to in terms of playing a competitive game before committing a chunk of any transfer budget on forwards or midfielders. Konaté may need another partner if all three CB's look way off the pace. It could also mean that we will hold onto Phillips for the same reason.
