Barcelona's demands
Although a loan agreement wouldn't be straightforward.
Spanish radio station Mundo Deportivo via Catalunya Radio claim Barcelona will demand a £27m loan fee if Coutinho was to leave temporarily.
This is because they are still paying off the £143m transfer fee to Liverpool in instalments and would need the costs covered to ease the financial strain.

Like others, I get excited by the prospect of someone new, but I'm not overly surprised that nothing has happened. We spent big recently, and that may have led some to believe that that is now our policy every year, but it seems not.
Anyway, those in charge - from the owners down to the manager - have done a pretty good job so far so I'll delay any criticism until we do actually appear to be suffering due to lack of new players.
Perhaps Klopp thinks that what he has, bolstered by the young ones coming through, is enough for this coming period?
We shall see soon enough. I can't wait for it all to start - get today's rubbish out of the way and let's get on with it.

as i said i didn't expect a "big" window but was expecting at least FB cover & possibly a forward as cover.
We will know soon if it was a mistake not to strengthen the squad.

There is a problem signing first team player, who is not willing to be on the bench. Our prayer this season is, Mane, Salah ,Firmino
and all our back four are not injured for a long time. I think we can cope with the kids coming in.
 
Simon Mignolet set to join Club Brugge. Due to undergo medical tomorrow. Liverpool will look to sign a new No2.
