Makes you wonder. I trust and respect Klopp's judgement generally, but Karius never looked right from the beginning to me. Even the YouTube compilation going round before we bought him wasn't particularly impressive. It's an odd one.
I'm with Donga when he said that Mig would probably have saved Zinchenko's pen yesterday. When it was obvious it was going to penalties, I was half hoping we'd sub them round at the last minute. Alisson is definitely better all-round though, and gives greater confidence to the defence, so ultimately the right move. Still has the odd gaffe in him though, a bit of over-confidence perhaps.
Let's see how well he does. Tbh, it's many a year since transfer fees bore a direct correlation to the quality of a player.
