Liverpool have blown Manchester United out of the water to agree a deal to sign Polish rising star Jakub Ojrzynski, Football Insider understands.
Both of the Premier League big hitters have been pursuing the goalkeeper, 16, with a view to recruiting him in this summer’s window
A Liverpool source has told Football Insider they have won the race to land the teenager after agreeing personal terms with the player and the structure of a £200,000 deal with his club Legia Warsaw.

Liverpool 'enter Fraser race'
Liverpool have entered the race to sign Ryan Fraser this summer according to a report.

The Scotland international has had a breakout season for Bournemouth and as a result, has received interested from Manchester United and Arsenal already.

But Liverpool are now said to have joined the race to sign the diminutive Scotsman.

Fraser, who is entering the final year of his contract, bagged seven goals and registered 14 assists last season.

I actually like him and he has that work-rate Klopp adores. It's never about who players play for it's work rate and how they fit in the system.

@moreinjuredthanowen I see you are still pushing the Edwards is rubbish discussion agenda. I may not have @astro type bookmarks, but I clearly remember you telling everyone willing to listen how it would all end in tears.

So is it Gordon is the guru and Edwards just fetches the coffee? :bandit:

There's plenty comments to choose from, most of which are calling for Edwards to be sacked:

is anyone here shocked Edwards is on the side lines?

I've said time and again he's promoted way over his level.

why is edwards still employed.

Answers on a postcard to

This one's before we signed Mané, although it's well known that MITO doesn't rate him anyway

I HOPE klopp has control and i HOPE Michael Edwards is going to be sacked this summer.. I really do. this... mike gorodn oh you want gotze do you kloppy... hey michael what does the computer say... stuff that cannot happen... just cannot.

This one also aged well:

You know why Robertson is on the side lines?

Cos he's not klopp choice. He's edwards buy.

Can you do me? I must have said some complete bollox over time.

Not as bad as some others TBF, but here you went a bit MITO:

Hi! First time poster long time lurker, are we getting ripped off if this Mane transfer is true?

I was not a fan of the lad until last season, he seemed to have no brain and was such a poor player, £40M is crazy and I'd rather us look elsewhere, I imagine you would feel the same way.

So putting aside the ifs and buts and rights and wrongs, if we get him what are we getting?

On the topic of bollocks:

The stabbing pain in my right nut is not pleasant.

Newcastle, saints and Brighton interested in Wilson apparently. We want upwards of 25m. Can’t see us getting that, especially not from those teams but 15m would be a reasonable fee for someone who had a good year in the champ and is young with good potential.

I can't see why we'd consider selling him, he's done well in the lower league either give him a shot or loan to a PL team and see how he does.
