it's only the channel. in the ice age it was all land. it's close to some light house.

the ocean proper is a long way further out west
It's part of the continental shelf around northern Europe that extends out beyond Ireland. Relatively shallow compared to deep ocean.
Same as the North Sea, which is why fixed platform oil rigs can stand on the sea-bed.

yeahhhhh... I call bullshit.

I note similar.on the Hudson odoi story. the Edwards.ball kicked a try to make out its a genius move to get Werner but the reality is it's just agents spinning.

the agent might as just stick a bargain value, slightly used sign round the kids neck... one careful.owner... mot for 12 months

£27mill is pocket change nowadays... He can't be very good. :bandit:

well... just all adds to how stupid it was to let clyne go.

we should have held.him til end of Jan and said that's the beaks lad when has went down injured.

clyne could and should have played our last 3 or 4 games.

Agree about VvD and Gomez. It's Matip and Lovren that concern me. Am sure Klopp will get it right.

As third and fourth choices go, tell me a club that has better ones...

I get what you're saying but we're not going to have three or four players of VVDs ability for a single position.

I imagine there must have been a good reason and we're just not a party to it.
Klopp may be crazy but he's not stupid.

Fair point, although there are a few that I'd prefer over Lovren. But my point is that Gomez injury is longer than imagined, there could be complications. If he wasn't injured, I wouldn't have posted. Since his injury, we look much more defensively suspect. If he's back in two weeks without complications, it's not a problem....obviously. If he's not, we will be poorer.

I said this and got sneered at by people on here, and this was after Milner proved he's no longer able to cover the FB positions.

Had Clyne played these games then why would he be moaning about not moving and instead wait till summer to get a permanent move if he really wants out.

Jurgen Klopp has insisted that fans wishing to see any players arriving at Anfield during this winter window are going to be disappointed but that of course doesn't stop the Premier League leaders being linked with a whole host of names across Europe.
