I know many would disagree on here but wouldn't mind Shaqiri now that Stoke are relegated. He has great technical ability and would be a solid back-up.

Is the Shaq talk a smokescreen to get Lyon to pull their finger out? Since this news broke, the gossip also suggests that Fekir has told Lyon that he wants to move to Liverpool only....and Lyon have shifted their stance.
You’d not get a bag of Haribo and a packet of Monster Munch for Karius
Oooh me head
I think the Virgil saga showed that we will pay the money if necessary. There'll be some players Klopp wants at any cost, and some at the right price. That crucial difference will decide how we go about the negotiations.I think lyon want us to bid a number then they will decide how much to add onto that number so we have to come back and bid again a couple times til they get enough.
e.g.. 50mil bid..
lyon say 70 and scream it from the heavens so every lfc fan and other rival club knows LFC bid 50mil
LFC bid 55
Lyon tell the world that its not enough
as so it goes on unitl lfc bid 60mil or whatever.
We want to wait until they are looking around going **** we actually need to spend ourselves and then throw 55 at them and they accept.
Its just classic LFC.
Then the player goes to arsenal or something.

Maybe. I do think our policy has changed subtly though.I think a number of these have shown that if you keep saying no LFC don't really go away, they just come back with a bit more money.
Its standard practice for us to low ball clubs

We'll really go for someone if we think we must have him, but there are some who we'll play the game over - and be prepared to say "ah **** it" and move on to a similar target if the price gets too high.
At least that's how I hope we're playing it, because we have to let others know that even if we have plenty of dosh and gaps in our squad there are limits on how much we'll cough up.
LFC submits 2 planning applications to expand the use of [HASHTAG]#Anfield[/HASHTAG] for concerts & other non-football events. [HASHTAG]#Liverpool[/HASHTAG] want to make their ground a year-round destination. If given the go-ahead the stadium could host up to 10 events, such as boxing or American Football every year.
If you want players that others also want you need to outbid them.Winning trophies no longer come cheap.Maybe. I do think our policy has changed subtly though.

Firmino was rested a few times in the league in the later stages of the CL - I know because he was my FF captainGiven firmino was bulletproof all season I can't quite think of when salah actually player without firmino in a proper first 11
