He certainly is a class player but i hope Liverpool don't get forced to pay over the odds, the money nowadays is crazily over inflated.
I'm still puzzled at why he would want to leave Liverpool other than he wants to play in a less physically demanding league.
Lampard will either be a hero or a failure in his first job, same doesn't really apply to Gerrard. Very few, if any, in England are bothered about Scottish football so he gets to try out management away from the spotlight. Give it a go where he can't mess up promotion or relegation in, say the Championship, then when he's got a bit of experience under his belt, come back and have a proper go with a Championship or lower prem side.

Hard to argue with the last part, Italy is a lovely place to live in with nice climates. But the place to be is the PL and with Liverpool's resurgence is something he'll be turning his back on. Should have stayed a bit longer before leaving.
