TBH he was never making it here so he has to give it a go and try make it somehow.

Decent talent but not up to the standard in prem. imo wasn;t even ready for a champ loan.

Best of luck to the lad.

MOYES LEAVES WEST HAM

Away from England for a minute, as there's news of another managerial departure in the Premier League.

After Sam Allardyce was sacked by Everton this morning, now David Moyes has left West Ham.

yeah, just going off how we run our business here. Fixed costs apportioned by volume.

It doesn't REALLY work for football as you are not making a product for sale par se.

I think it does work for Football although it treats young lads as a commodity, the value of which can rise and fall (whether this is right or not is a different subject). Basically, if they can fund Melwood by making a few million on players each year and by having one or two step into the first team, they become a big asset to the organisation. What is TAA's value now? What maybe in 5 years? I'd wager that there are targets as such for those who run Melwood. It's the business part of football. Unfortunate but very much needed in today's world. <ok>

Surprised we aren't being linked with Max Meyer

but only because
Meyer plays in Germany - Klopp managed in Germany.
Meyer is a MF - Can is a MF.
Can is leaving LFC on a free - Meyer is available on a free.

Ergo for journalists story writes itself "Liverpool swoop for free German star Meyer"

Makes you almost wonder if we are after him <laugh>

Think I remember reading that he’s been pretty pants this year

Maybe so.

we we told year and years ago when kirkby was built at a cost of 12mil it cost 2mil to run.

Thats a big cost for nothing so it must be much bigger cost now.

Packing them in and loaning them out worked for cheslea to some extent but the attidue for me at the top seems odd. They seem utterly oblivious to the lack of talent coming through.

My view is

courtois was an expensive buy. they loaned him out and then took him back onc ehe was in SF of CL etc and played him since

Christensen is anther they picked up very cheap qand loaned out a bit

Moses cost 10mil or something? he's not really the same

After that....... well... the onyl guy that immediatley comes to mind as a success FOR THEM is loftus cheek and he's not made it yet.

Theres a litany of guys they have taken through their door and loans out and never really played they make money on.

You might say that de bryune, salah and lukaku have really returned to haunt them now.

I think you can sell on a few like stewart but theres only so many you can sell on before it starts to hurt your own talent flow doesn't it?

Our efforts are to try them out and see if they can make it and then move them on so they can have a career (or block them as the case may be)

We like kids to sign a contract and committ to us before the do anything for them.

So dhana and brewster are taking their big risk now. And on they go.

I nthe end he kept them up sop he can say that on his cv now.

He was never liked.

I reckon you could probably draw up a list of clubs right now that will sack a manger within the first 4/5 months of next year

IMO:

Brighton: some might disagree but hughton plays one up only and lacks goals. if the form is poor they might look and have to drop him,
west ham: always likely with new man in <laugh> bunch of clowns
Watford: i think their owners are harsh.
southampton: hughes isn't good enough. imo they will struggle again
palace: they might shoot the ould fella.
leicester: owners don't really show much pateicne or long term thinking
newcastle: if rafa walks all bets are off. they will struggle to get a manager

the only guys i see as safe in midtable are burnely and bournemouth managers. and it IMO is only reason either are still prem clubs!

Not many clubs in that list for allardyce as he has dirtied every one.

Weren't all of Everton's trash players, their trash director of football, and their 3 last trash managers brought in under Moshiri in the first place?
