sky giving it the big build up again and again its a lot of a damp squib.

anything massive happened a while ago and their "sky sources" bullshit ended by repeating that nothings going to happen.

I suppose Llorente to spurs was a surprise and Bony back to Swansea but not the massive transfers they were predicting.

to be fair embarassing for the club but i'm well happy he's not coming. 35m is daylight robbery when you can get him for free (probably not from us) when he's back from injury.

Plus i've always said he was overrated. Would prefer to get someone else

Like oxlade chamberlain :bandit:

or drinkwater <laugh>

As if that hadn't occurred to the pair of them at any point before like <doh>

Him ****ing them clean off mid medical is hilarious makes Gerrards WUM look amateurish

Do you think there might be more to it Tobes? Just deciding to leave sounds so bizarre, I'm struggling to believe it!

Never forget the Gerrard saga, literally furious and just went to bed - wake up to his going nowhere <cheers>

Two things, our Chairman has publicly stated that we no longer have to sell to service a debt to our minority owner and we have new investment from our majority Chinese owner. I take that as being a statement that we are no longer a "selling club, although I do understand fans of other clubs thinking that we still are.

Fair enough, but I think the statement made by Saints chairman was aimed at us in particular, but as no bids were made it was all hot air to keep the support happy.

If he doesn't sign a new deal now he can't play for the club again, simple as, and he'll rot in the reserves

Still funny though.

4 months of holidays before a [HASHTAG]#nailedon[/HASHTAG] big new contract

Well what we can say is

A) ox is clearly another klopp saw him once and liked him type of buy. Klopp says he can work with him and likes him.

B) salah is a decent wide player

C) keeping coutinho IF he has the manhood to be adult and discuss with klopp and getbon with it imo is vital.

D) roberton and moreno.. meh.. defensively not sorted.

E) kieta is good in the future. Little dissappointed leipzig has to save face like this. Another klopp really wants.

F) can clearly off on free. Not much of a concern for me as he will play and not drop off.

G) origi off. Meh.. good fee. Too many strikers anyway.

H) same obvious flaws in our side... im looking to injury free run from matip and hopefully robertson stepping up... we will leak goals all year from no 6 being awol imo....

Do the check yourself! Lol

Think it's 50 here before you get the prostrate milking

Take it from me - get it done. After the 'digital' examination it's a simple blood test called a PSA. Better safe than sorry, trust me, and by time you young chaps are in your 50's I'm sure detection and treatment will be even simpler. I won't drone on any further except to say that I now get Viagra and **** aids on the NHS. well, I paid my taxes all my life and I deserve it. ;)

The only conclusion is that at the 11th hour he just decided it wasn't for him.

There's no other real logical explanation, fee agreed, terms agreed, he's travelled down there for the medical, and then he just says 'no ta' and does one.

And the Chavs with their paper thin squad....even thinner than ours!! And City with their erm lingual problems and Utd have Fellaini <laugh>.....top one is wide open! <whistle>

I'd say our depth between us is similar:

Up front
Morata/Batshuayi Firmino/Sturridge/Solanke - you have 3 bods vs our 2 except sturridge perpertually out and solanke has looked sharp but untested
Hazard/Pedro/Willian Mane/Salah/Ox - both as deep as each other
fab/bakayoko/kante can/lallana/coutinho/milner/winja/hendo yours is deeper but your CM is very divisive among your fanbase (all i've seen is moaning about them)

Alonso/Moses/Azpili Moreno/TAA/Clyne/Gomes/robertson yours is deeper but half of yours barely count as competent
Cahill/Luiz/Christensen/Rudiger Lovren/Klavan/Matip Not going to even compare that
Courtouis/Caballero Mignolet/Karius again this is not a even a fair fight

A mixed bag for both clubs that window. We spent £160m but didn't fill the key position ffs. <doh>

Oh and btw...

Nobody in prem is a selling club if their wages are ok. Not now... but... theres a diffetence between needing to sell to keep a float and keepung players happy.

If you have unhappy players unable to fulfil ambition when offers come it can be poison.

The only reasons coutinho is not gone are timing of offer and paltry up front payment on offer. Id have shifted him on.

You pushed Palace too hard thinking they'd capitulate at the death and they've obviously called your bluff and ****ed you clean off.

Leaving you with a £25m CB on £80k a week sat in your stiffs.

[HASHTAG]#transfergenius[/HASHTAG]

Indeed. Barkley vs Sakho a masterclass in leaving it late as possible, but not too late, to sell.

Happy with the window bob?

Not that happy. mentioned before i'd have preferred either to get some big talent in or give our youth a chance.

We didn't get that many big talents (morata and bakayoko i'm very happy with) which means giving the youth a chance... except we gave all our youth away in loans or sales.

The next best thing was to not buy lots of average players at ripoff prices which we haven't done so i'm pleased with that even though its been underwhelming.
