Sorry mate I think you've misunderstood. The not wanting to sell to us because we've had enough of your players is how I see your i.e. saints view and not ours.

Now you know how Celtic fans felt when he went to you a year into his new contract there - Celtic fans were none too happy <whistle>[/QUOTE]

Don't think you would find many who , hand on heart , can say we have not done to others as they have done unto us . Heck , have I swallowed a Bible !

Honestly don't know . We are and always have been a selling club , perhaps that will change who knows . But I think it's just the way Lallana & Lovren left us to go to you that irks , but again , no idea why they choose you , or you come knocking on our door .

They wanted amongst other things to play in CL, as far as I know they've got that, so their ambitions and decision to leave saints was justified?

Seems like we will sign Limahl

What's that ?? It's Lemar ?? Oh ... It's Lemar is it ...

Lemar

At least the song title is relevant

It's the WAY they left , as with Morgan , just be professional about it .

But yes , no problem with players wanting to move to a bigger club .

But.....if they hadn't acted as they did they wouldn't have got their moves, it's purely and simply down to their club's determination to keep the players in question, apparently under saints previous ownership money was more. Important than keeping the players?

They would have got their moves after a year I am sure , if the way they acted was acceptable to get their moves , then anything goes ?

Yes we are a selling club . Maybe the current lot are trying to change that .

That's not really LFC's fault though is it?
It is weird, the number of your players we've taken. Maybe it's just coincidence, or maybe your fast turnover keeps bringing up new potential. But as I said a few days ago, it's all a bit hit and miss - some have worked out a lot better than others.

I have never said or thought it was Liverpools fault that Lallana & Lovren went to you .

Which is why I Highlighted the bit about the way they left , and did not highlight Liverpool . Does not matter where they went , it's the manner in which they did it that is annoying .

City offer Arsenal cash-plus-Sterling for Sanchez

Interesting

Very interesting. Sanchez to City will really reinforce them. They'll be even hotter favourites for the title if that happens.

Arsenal are just falling apart. Wenger rules the club and no one has the ability to get rid of him except the owners. And Kroenke can't be bothered as long the money keeps rolling in. And Wenger being so damn careful with the club's money is ideal for the owners.

yes, it is a risk to get rid of a long serving manager but surely this is going to have to be done at some time. It is much better to get a new manager in, give hope and new excitement to the fans instaed of stagnation and inevitable decline. Just look at the excitement generated with the appointments of Conte, Guardiola and Klopp.

Been mentioned before but it would be easier(and cheaper) to take the southampton scouts to liverpool.

They seem to have a much better eye for a player than ours do in recent times.

Yes and no.

For every small risk like vvd at 10mil plus sell on clause there's a failure nobody pays attention too.

Lfc have markovic thrown at them as why they are ****e and then balotelli etc...

As long as Sanchez goes and dangerous there on Sept 1 I will be happy.

It means off can be in a 5 horse race not a 6 horse one.

If spurs ha e a poor year at wembley as well... oh boy.

Ok. Perhaps there are too many points of view flying about and I'm confused over who has said what, but I thought Saints were pissed off with LFC for buying your players? It seems that irritation with us is mixed up with anger at the way the players themselves engineered their move.
For the record, I've already expressed concerns over the fact that if van Dijk would do this to you, he may well do the same to us next year if someone even higher up the food chain comes sniffing round.

My head is spinning as well . Shall we just leave it there ?
