Fair play to you though you did try and be a small voice of reason. You responded to Sky's comment saying you agreed that the phrase shouldn't be used when talking to Liverpool fans. So what do you think he meant by ''never your fault .... ever'' - with emphasis on the added word ''ever'' - that made you apologise so profusely to him? I left that thread more or less at that point and never went back to look. Your backtracking on the matter completely negated your earlier efforts of trying to be reasonable. The only person with any guts on there was Sky.

Just for the record, I have no problem with you whatsoever. You're a good poster and I enjoy talking to you on our board but please don't tell me when and where I can use inverted commas when my experience of saints posters, as I've tried to describe in this post, has been that even the 'decent' ones weren't as decent as they should have been in that particular instance.

You and jaspar are welcome on our board as far as I'm concerned. We need more good quality wums <cheers>

No, never meant to say 'accept' (did I?), just that if the player won't go to Chelsea and we've matched their bid (again, moot point if we haven't been invited to bid) they're on a sticky wicket IF the player wants to go to Liverpool when they will only accept Chelsea's bid. That said, Soton would just do something spiteful and say that they consider Liverpool a rival, but not Chelsea!

But if our bid and the Chavs bids were equal and the Chavs offered him more in salary than us where would he choose?

I'd guess Chelsea.....sadly.
