That works both ways old bean.
Very, very, fortunately and gladly your club hasn't had the tragedy that befell ours. I hope no other club ever has anything like it. So we'll never go on your board and throw a comment designed to be highly upsetting at you ... so ... no in this instance it doesn't work both ways.

fatletiss was out of order in what he said. I don't know maybe he's Mother Teresa in disguise in his 'real life' and turns into the Hulk on the internet, or maybe he had an off day but I'm not having you defending him on my team's board when what he did was highly offensive <ok>

No, never meant to say 'accept' (did I?), just that if the player won't go to Chelsea and we've matched their bid (again, moot point if we haven't been invited to bid) they're on a sticky wicket IF the player wants to go to Liverpool when they will only accept Chelsea's bid. That said, Soton would just do something spiteful and say that they consider Liverpool a rival, but not Chelsea!

to be fair they finish far closer to you than to us :P

No, you took offence to something he said that had no intent. That's your choice. There was no 'design' to be highly upsetting.

Coutinho boost
15:43: Barcelona have agreed a £45millon deal with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Angel Di Maria - potentially ending their pursuit of Philipe Coutinho.

The Catalan giants have been chasing a marquee signing to replace Neymar and had their eyes set on the Liverpool star.

But The media claim Barca have now had a bid accepted for former Real Madrid winger Di Maria.

Liverpool's stance on Coutinho remains the same - he will not be sold.

Well while you're here and claim to know his intent, whats never our fault(ever)?, what are we victims of?

We know what's inferred by remarks and comments like that, to deny the obvious is ridiculous.

In your opinion.

Solid has even backed me up with his experience getting the same type of comment - ''no intent'' my **** now kindly clear off.

whilst i understand how those words can be interpreted, but theres 2 points that i'm not going to go and investigate but point out:

1. Was it the same southampton fan that said it the first time as the second time, its summer and the 2nd guy who said it may not have seen what happened before (holiday/200 pages of **** on that thread etc etc).

2. I think i may have used the your fault line in the past without knowing how serious that phrase was so i know how it can be used very easily

So it's never occurred to you that you infer far too much from people's criticisms? Again, your choice. No skin off my nose, but if you're seeing bogeymen constantly where there are none, it's going to be a pretty stressful existence.

I've said my piece so I'll bow out. You don't want to listen. That's fine. Good luck.

nope different fella
but i really had enough of this i haven't got the energy to use on it and i'm just not going near that thread as the Saints fans are just venting anger and at times it goes too far imo.
I had previously posted a few times on their board quite happily but there you go.

Only because he wasn't getting picked.<whistle>

It was great Gareth Southgate called me this week to tell me he wanted me back in the England squad for the upcoming matches. I really appreciated that.

However, having already thought long and hard, I told Gareth that I had now decided to retire for good from international football.
It is a really tough decision and one I have discussed with my family, my manager at Everton and those closest to me.
