I can vouch that Libby isn't a walkover and certainly has guts. He was trying to get banned from his own board a little while back because most of the posters are precious bellends.

I've had some PM's from some saints fans which I won't discuss pointing out exactly this.

As I said the other day the type of mocking we're talking about has a different effect on me hence my need to take no prisoners. Anyway enough said now.

Can I just add that i checked when JB posted on that thread & it was almost exactly 1 month after i had left the thread having had almost exactly the same experience including some of the same posters which does rather call into question the "poor choice of words" theory .

Never said (or certainly meant to say) that isn't the case - but if the club had identical offers and tried to force a sale to one of the clubs over the player's head they would be foul of contact law - they can not sell a player to a club that they do not want to go to. Totally irrelevant though - he'll go to Chelsea in a flash to get out of the ****storm he's no created.

Yep, they can't force a player to agree a deal with a particular club over another but it's their prerogative to choose or reject offers - only exception would be release type clauses.

This Coutinho stuff is really sending mixed messages - not sure who to believe (without red tinted spectacles on)

The bloke doesn't have a bad bone in his body, and would never, ever have been referring to the incident you're implying with any comment.

Don't want this to labour on mate. As far as I'm concerned it was done and dusted ages ago and the only reason a few of us commented again was because it reared it's ugly head again in the form of History Repeating who came here the other day and felt the need to throw in a ''victim'' comment.

I refuse to believe there's a single regular football forum user [of which fatletiss is one] who doesn't know not to say 'those phrases' to a Liverpool fan. Think about it - ''it's never your fault ... ever''. Those saying that to Liverpool fans are doing so with full deliberate intent to upset. Why ''ever''? You really can't get away from it.

I said the other day that posters should have guts to stand up to other posters , adding ''it's not like you're going to get punched in the face''. Finding out now that you know fatletiss personally, puts a new spin on that. Also like to add by saying only Sky showed any guts - doesn't mean I directly said to you ''you haven't got any guts''. I'm sure you have

Agreed I don't want this to go on and on mate, the only reason I mentioned that I've met guy multiple times is that I honestly don't think he's that sort of ****, despite our differences on here.

I'm pretty sure he himself hasn't mentioned like thar since so maybe he took our comments on board, who knows? I'm speculating here though.

Agree HR comment the other day was completely out of nowhere and strange. Notice he hasn't bothered to explain it either though I noticed he has liked posts since...

It disappoints me how common it seems to be with some of our fans on here which was my original point, that I've made mention of it a few times but if people will still keep doing it, what can you do other than ignore their ignorance? Though appreciate this is easier said than done particularly for local fans.

I had a bit of heated debate after the first leg of the semi on our board too after hearing the song at the match which pissed me off royally. And in my mind a lack of condemnation from a lot of posters.

Anyway, like you say let's not drag this out and I don't actually think we're a million miles away from each other fella... Sometimes takes a few posts back and forth to get there though

not everyone here is on your board mate. there are sly comments like "victims" or "Never their fault" which are triggers. We all know it. I would advise everyone on BOTH sides to read the intent first

if someone say hey you are not the victims in this we are. thats one thing.. saying typical always the victims that is something entirely different.

I understand the point about triggers, but then there's also the point that people sometimes can't essentially say "god you lot can be a bunch of moany ****s" without someone else immediately crying wolf. It prevents discussion/banter, whatever.

Language can and should be moderated, but it also shouldn't be the go-to response whenever Liverpool or their fans are criticised.

Point being though, you could not be more wrong about someone like FLT. There are nasty ****ers out there that would have that intent. He's quite the opposite.
