I think new owner are likely to let VVD leave anything that is going to give them bad publicity they are not going to like it.

We've already accepted that Coutinho will probably leave, we just want as much of that £200m (now £160m) Barca have got in their pocket.

Of course he'll leave eventually. We all know that. And we want as much money as we can get. Just we're unlikely to be selling him to you (and nobody has bid).
Look back at your question about accepting he'll go. We do. It'll just be in January or end of season it seems.
I'm still in the 'hope he stays, think he'll stay' camp.........one more season
We'll have to wait and see. But as I said, there seems to be a complete determination to keep him for the time being at the club, and it would be an odd initial move by the new majority owner to suddenly reverse that decision.
No idea if it's the right move or not, but we're digging our heels in with this one.
I said get it done quick.... either do it quick or not at all.
