You expect us to take less than Lukheskey from a club that has £200m in their pocket, and we don't need to sell?
If he had consistently scored the same amount of goals as Lukheskey you could have a point, as it is you just don't.
What difference does it make how much money they have, will it make him a better player or worth more?

They be back with a £70m take it or leave it offer next summer, and we'll probably take it if PSG don't want him, but 'losing' £20m now is no hardship if we win something this season. That said, I',m sure barca's £90m will consist of cast-offs and staggered payments anyway.
That's just about how it works.

Smoke and mirrors mate, they will end up with Dybala or Dembele.
They don't need an expensive playmate anymore, they need a replacement. Coutinho's time may come next year when Iniesta is a year older, for now he is a distraction.
Barca don't make spoof bids, they want the player, but are playing a game with their tactics,

This will come down to the player, if he chucks in a transfer request it moves on to the final stage.

The 'difference' is they want him they'll pay more. Sheesh - even their own papers are saying they'll have to pay over the odds, just like we did for Carroll. This is the chain, mate.

Short answer is that it makes all the difference. The long answer consists of the short answer with all the justification and logical reasoning to go with it.

Sky sources understand Liverpool have rejected Barcelona’s second bid for Philippe Coutinho.

We understand Barca’s latest offer was €85m (£77m) up front plus €15m (£13m) in add-ons and it was immediately turned down.

Liverpool have reiterated their stance that Coutinho is not for sale and they now consider the matter closed.

£77m up front and £13m in add ons.

**** off Barca, you've just received almost £200m for Neymar

If they can get him for £80-£90m they will probably take him and train him as a replacement for Iniesta over the next year or so, that will still leave them with a fair wedge to get a Neymar replacement.

If the stuff regarding Barcelona expecting the deal to be done on Friday is true, I reckon they've had some indication from the player's agent that they'll force it through.

If he chucks in a transfer request he'll go imo. You won't knock back £100m+ to keep a player who's openly told you he wants to **** off. Won't happen.

Oh, that thing again. Thought you had some info there. Luis threw his teddy out the cot in 2013. Played his best season ever for us after that and nearly won us the league. That was WC season too.

By whom? Can only be FSG if that's the case.
Nah nothin official just yous lot on here lmao
Sorry
So fed of this **** - tbh totally agree with pretty much everything you have said donga
It nothing like us with Southampton
However sadly it is the way of the 'sport'
I find myself thinking I going to find me a nice team in whatever the Vauxhall conference passes for now as this **** getting disgusting
Unfortunately prob can't do that :(

I really fail to see how the amount of money a club has received increases the value/worth of a player they may want to buy, does he magically become a better player?

The player's agent agreed a contract and promised Barca a lot of things. Never happened at £72m, and isn't happening at £90m. Unless FSG fold (quite possible) there's no reason to sell, none whatsoever.
