I did say I was exaggerating, not on about strictly on here either btw <ok>

For what it's worth I disagree about haggling deals down. Think we've always got good prices from you.

My point is its hypocritical to slate Barca if you defend your clubs actions with Virgil <cheers>
Honestly, there's not a single Liverpool poster on here who fits the description you're trying to portray [I will have to go check astro's posts <laugh> ] I've had a look on rawk after someone mentioned their VVD and Coutinho threads and, for my sins, I read through 28 pages - that's 1120 comments - and not one of them fits the description either. Us Liverpool fans don't agree very often but I'd say there's 100% agreement that our behaviour re VVD was embarrassing.

Just out of interest what exactly are we / the club doing presently that's hypocritical? Sloppy, unsubstantiated press articles aside.

Money is there. They backed klopp with 70m for Keita and 70m for VVD. It's not fsg fault that their clubs didn't want to sell?

All Prem club's start and finish the transfer window on the same day, some get their businesses done earlier than others but still get it done, even Woodward who takes loads of stick off the mancs, and despite the crap they get the Glazers spend money generated by their club.
You're correct in saying it's not FSG's fault of a club won't sell but it's also fair to say that Klopp isn't totally in control of players bought, FSG's man at Anfield is saving them fortune by his baseball approach to football.

Hope all works out well for us but the rumblings of discontent will get louder until John Henry makes his/FSG's position on Couthinho clear.

His silence is deafening.

I think I'd agree largely on number. Its not par se for me to say what it should be but its not 70 or 80 mil or a two instalment deal and its not a add on deal either imo. I think we all agree on that.

I don't know a tier on top of the kop is possible. I think the thole thing would have to be knocked to achieve it out of the current steel work but i could be wrong

I think the issue for me is the anfield road end will (i hope) be a far superior stand to the kop when (i hope) it is done. Its only 70mil too... it should be done.

The kop i think is very interesting as the footprint is not that impossible

If anything there are tow things affecting the kop. The albert and the road itself. I think this current layout for the annie road is now obsolete as another 2/3 k will have to be stuffed in there to get it accross the line the plan was to add 4,800 seats to the 9k in the anfield road end. that would be more than the kop... if theres another 2/3 k squeezed in there that makes it a massive end and far superior to the kop

BUT.. the actual space its all that different in foot print. If the will were there the kop end could be changed but i think its an entire demolish job.

Yeah, Anny Road End at £70m is the priority. IF we sell Ford, or IF we're not using the VVD and/or Keita money I can't see why we start it ASAP. Unless FSG have their own 'plans' for the money...

That is a good point. He had his say loudly in the past.

Imo away fans need to move to say I dunno centenary lower or something it it is built. I think it's going to finally be a read world class end for the fans... it's almost like it's better than the kip yet it can't be cos it's not THE KOP

The press are now using the sponsor thing to show off are running from questions.

Klopp was at this western union patch thing and all the press wanted was to ask about ciutinho and him and gordon fecked off before questions.

Imo tomorrow's presser will be about one thing only and if klopp reacts badly it could be a clusterfuck.

Klopp said Coutinho isn't for sale in the past couple weeks, so if he sticks to that then I believe him. If he changes his tune in the slightest, then something is definitely off and Coutinho will be gone.

It'll mean FSG have leaned on him, and I sincerely hope he has the balls to go: or better still, they can go and Klopp can stay.
