A press release today has confirmed that the entire scouting team has been given mandatory annual leave until the end of September.

This follows news from last week that Michael Edwards has been promised an incentive bonus of £159.23 or his body-weight worth of Wagon Wheels should he help FSG not sign anyone. "It was a bit mean snitching on Kloppo to Southampton, but FSG are quite adamant that they really don't want to spend any money."
Our sources indicate it is the latter Edwards is pining for.

I am increasingly worried that our transfer policy is 'they'll see how good our first offer was and become desperate to sell'

Wouldn't be surprised if the committee had all gone on their jollies.

The window isn't officially open. Our staff will be working on targets behind the media nonsense. Salah is pretty much a done deal.

The only downside is VVD. Other than that we have no reason to believe we won't get what we need.

It's early days, don't panic...... yet!

2 months to CL qualifying, we don't have as much time as the rest of the PL.

Not true the English window opened on Friday. Its the European window that hasn't opened yet.

Still no sign of a LB

Last Friday?

Either way it's early days. It wouldn't surprise me if we get an announcement soon about a player or 2.

I just try and ignore the ****e in the media. I'm still optimistic that we'll get what we need.
 
The only deals being announced so far are those that are such poor value no one would think of hijacking e.g. Pickford

I see my tactics to depress everyone so badly any signing will look good havent completely worked yet.
