We will eventually play with a striker and 3 attackers, then 2 CM's.

We badly need a third AM with pace - I think Markovic can play this role but we're heavily linked to Sane.

Still wouldn't say no to Isco. Quality.

To be honest... We ain't getting Isco, no way no how.. quality player mind!
We have Ibe, (he's no Isco.. yet (if ever)), but would like to see him continue to improve, we'll get Markovic back and hopefully Klopp can do something with him..
If the Sane rumours are true then that's 3 players along with Lalinho to play in the three behind the striker, assuming 2 of those slots are to be taken by Ford and Firmino..

With regards to the current sqaud.. think...
Gomez to challange for a CB role next year, meaning Kolo is likely to leave.. (likes of Wisdom and Ilori (how good is the lad really, he can't even get into Villa's team!) don't think they'll remain at the club.. sad but t'is life..)
    Flanno to cover Clyne..
    Cover for Moreno
I'd also look at getting cover/competition for a DM
Ings back to cover Studge and Bentekers. do we stick with Origi/send him on loan again or sell and get another striker?

Don't need major Surgery, 3/4 QUALITY signings to the squad we already have, should go a long way under Klopp.. Hopefully!

Quality player but we have too many of those number 10s.

Lallana, Cout, Firmino all prefer that role. We only have 1 wide player in ibe, we need some pace in wide areas more than anything.

Which is why we're meant to be interested in this Sane chap.. no idea if he's any good, some say he's a bit special, I looked awesome on a YouTube video once!
    Time will tell I guess..

  5. Would love Isco. He (other than Neymadge) would be my spunk signing tbh

Agree on Isco - more a luxury than necessity. Someone who can play wide and with speed..

I'd say we need to sign 3-4 starters across all areas:

    GK
    CB
    DM
    AM

I'd say the places we need to sign are.

GK, CB partner for Sakho, understudy for Sakho, LB, DM, direct goal scoring wide player. I think all of these are priorities and must be real quality players.

Add another striker as well. There is no way we can rely on Sturridge due to his injuries, no Benteke because he doesn't suit out style.

LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard says he is disappointed his former club Liverpool did not sign 19-year-old England midfielder Dele Alli before Tottenham did. (Evening Standard)

Gutted we didn't sign Alli. Guys looked classy for Spurs and seems a snip for £5m now.

Liverpool fan, admired Gerrard, we were seriously linked with him... Definitely one that got away there.

  11. We'd have ****ed him up and spat him out like we did with Shelvey

It's ridiculous how close we were to signing him - some idiot in the committee or Rodgers decided against it at the final hurdle.

    #15992
  13. Brod was part of the committee so the highlighted bit wasn't needed. Unless, of course, you want to try and have yet another subtle dig at our former manager like...<whistle>

LOL you're a bit sensitive today aren't you?

If I wanted to have a dig, I would have blamed just him and excluded the committee altogether.

But of course, in your little world, you think Rodgers and the other scouts were one big cohesive unit.

  15. Simple yes or no answer; was Brod part of the committee?

This Dale Alli, good that is doing well. You never know if he is going to be a flop in the future. However, I wish him all the best.<applause>
