I will be a lone voice with this but I wouldn't sell Salah even for £300m.

Let him and us honour his contract and then see where we are.

I'd certainly second Sucky's assertion that the entry level for Salah outside of our transfer window is now £250m.

Would take a deal in January tbf, or a six month loan. Gives us a chance to get someone else in. Possibly could do a job with the current options bit ideally you'd want someone else as well. Might cost a bit more in January but whoever we buy will cost more anyway as everyone knows how much money we're getting.

Yeah, even though he's not as good as he was pre the last ACON, he's still our most prolific player. Can't just let him go without replacing, and can't replace him without cash. I do think we need to sell him before he hits the cliff and loses all his value (so we CAN replace him)... I also think wherever he goes, he'll still be good, but won't be as good, his abilities just seem tailor made to Klopp's style of football and he won't necessarily fit as well anywhere else.

Jurgen Klopp has already been told Liverpool 'must accept' new £215m Mohamed Salah bid
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted that Mohamed Salah is going nowhere, but Al-Ittihad are still planning to lodge a new and improved bid for his services this week

yep, Klopps already been told…. By Jamie Carragher the other week <doh>
These click bait headlines are hilarious

No. I think he's a lot better.

I'm surprised that any Liverpool fan would use that turn of phrase when comparing the two :bandit:

Fair enough. Kane was head and shoulders above Salah last season though. Think it went under the radar how good Kane was last year in a very **** spurs because Haaland stole the headline. 30 league goals last year.

People have their preference but I think Kane is probably the best number 9 in world football

He either leaves this season for huge money. Next summer for big money. Or he leaves on a free end of next season. Not a single chance we offer and he signs a new contract at lfc.

We have to brace ourselves that this is Mo's last season with us. What a player ..

I just hope we get our new structure in place asap so that we don't waste the money ... by the sounds of it, wheels are in motion ...

Salah have loyalty problem either to Liverpool or to the Arabs where he belong.
He's shown his loyalty to Liverpool and nobody would deny him a move, in fact most expected it to have already happened. He's stayed committed even if that was helped along by a wage increase.

Yes, Saudi is closer to his home, his culture and religion but a move there would most definitely be about money and not about fitting in more with the surroundings. I want to think that he has more footballing ambition. He is loved in that part of the world regardless of whether he chooses to play there.

Obviously, the money would be a big factor in him moving but I'm trying to see it from his perspective.

He's playing for a top European club with a outside chance of winning worthwhile silverware but we are also in transition and out of the CL, maybe he recognises time isn't on his side and he won't be here two or three more years to see the project through?

I don't think he or the club owe the other anything. If he wants to go, we let him. If he wants to stay great. I don't think we'll force him to go and I don't think he'll force a move. It'll be what's best all round.

I actually think we could be a better 'team' without him, just hard to see how we replace the goals and assists.

It’s also his last chance at a massive life changing amount of money. Yes he gets paid incredibly well but the money being spoken about is 5 times his current wage, plus tax free.

Whats the other options he leaves us for free in 2 years and goes to play somewhere in Europe for 50% of the fee he’s on?

if/when you come up to retirement would you leave your current job to take a job on 1/2 pay 2 years before you retire or would you go to a new company paying you 5 times your current wage? No brainer.

You think Kane is better than Haaland, Benzema and Lewandowski?

Stop with the "life changing amount of money", it simply isn't. If he never earned another penny he's set up for life already, as are his children and grandchildren. His life will not change one iota no matter how much more money he has. I hate this argument.

Ood say very different to Haaland. Haaland has 7 touches a game and scores with 3 of them. Kane is much better link up as well as playmaker who still scores goals. And yes I’d say Kane is a better player than benzema and lewandowski are right now.
