I've seen it suggested that Henderson buys out the remainder of his contract - approximately £10m - and he gets to go without us having to take the tainted money. Probably not even a reality but that would work for me. They’ll get paid. Just for perspective, I read somewhere that Saudi Aramco make £2b profit (might have been $ but splitting hairs) every single day. So that’s 2,000 million of profit per day that can be repurposed. If they are allowed to, they will buy football. Well it's the richest place on earth so you'd imagine the players would get paid yet there are players not getting paid so go figure. FIFPRO is advising it's union members not to go there as there were 50 cases last year of players taking action over non payment.
