About as reliable as transfer rumors in. Don't believe the "in" rumors before the lean photos and don't believe the "out" rumors until you see the beheaded photos.

Of Thiago, Henderson and Fab, it looks as though we’ll keep one. As well as losing Keita, Milner and Ox - 5 of 6 midfielders out. That is some clear out by any standards and something I never saw coming at all.

the new midfield, whatever that will look like, will have to settle in….I’d be very impressed if it worked starlight off the bat but not concerned if we saw some learning early on.

I'll expect to see energy - real, high energy that we saw in our midfield from 2017 -2020. I also expect that we'll substitute the whole midfield 3 in every game before 75 minutes are out for the first 8-12 games. But we had to do something - that midfield from the first game against Fulham onwards looked like Mini Metros towing caravans.
