A couple of them only just moved a month or two ago so unlikely to come to us in January. If they did they would be very expensive as they were signed for this season and would have long contracts left.

Sure we set aside cash for the next transfer window ... just like this summer gone was supposed to be where we invest heavily in the midfield. And the summer prior to that ... same old sh*t.

the club are clearly going ttp be delighted the local friendlies are giving the fans a pick me up story. the 4 names mentioned are pure and utter recycling of old stuff with links to "not LFC" sources which are really no more than other sites who said something. The "oh look football insider said" stuff concerned the money is hilarious.

A child could have written that story.

If you follow the link football insider is even funnier as the state "sources have told football insider"

We used to make up bullshit about 10/15 years ago and spam the bbc 606 site with this exact stuff.

sources have to the esteemed German sports magazine wunter unter Meijer that..... Milk will recall some of that.

even landed a scoop on the polcitics side when I approached someone on one of the elections for a quote. simpler times.

the thing is the daily fail did not actually give specifics on the types of bonues he is getting.

I can only presume they are not incentives but more like turn up to training, eat your breakfast, etc from the way they reported them.

who knows but 900k a week is mbappe money. that was treated as a massive disgrace in some psanish media but the man city paid off media in england don't seem to care what city do

The trend is fair clear for me.

only papers willing to report on city's financial malpractice are in germany. no uk paper etc will touch it.
City are forever buttered up as being fabulous
    Pepe is always buttered up
the haaland love in started before he even arrived. Its been constant so i know the prem wants to have big stars but its beyond just look at the goals, it started before he kicked a ball.
no papers ever talk about city's dubious sponsors including this latest fake one that an address can't even be verified for.

add it all up and you'd wonder how many have diamond encrusted rolexes left on their pillows when they go off on away trips to cover city games.

And then later when we found out how to find what words were on their censor list and their "flag for a moderator to review" list we found out that anything with "Wunter Under Meijer" automatically went to the mods to review. <laugh>

I don't know if that's because they thought we were trouble makers or if they just like reading the Wunter.

**** knows but they refused to put "bin dipper" on the list but they felt we were somehow subversives. odd people.

they'd allow hate, bile, racism, sexism and all sorts be perfectly visible on their threads but not allowed to curse or make a joke.

the funny thing is to this very day JA606 keep this same swear filter so people cannot curse but can still call scousers bin dippers and they utterly refuse to change it.

It's astonishing the amount of praise that gets heaped on them. Klopp had a go one time about states and countries owning clubs and he got abuse for 'sour grapes '. I think Souness may have had a try as well but nobody wants to discuss it. I know it's turning some off football. How do you compete regularly with it? What we have done in competing has been nothing short of miraculous.

none have commented on the following

    since pep arrived:

chelsea, city, city, Liverpool, city, city. (premier league titles to the oil dopers 5, LFC 1.)
arsenal, chelsea city, arsenal, Leicester, Liverpool (majority of FA cup to non oil dopers, business end of CL)
Utd City, city, city, city, Liverpool (league cups to oil dopers 4, Man utd 1, LFC 1)

this is only going to get worse.

How long til the press finally get tired of being paid off and start grumbling cos the public are in their ear complaining about city winning everything each ear.

City are absolute red hot favourites for a second domestic treble.

Boredom will succeed where any type of protest fails.

The only thing that has kept the prem interesting is us. The hatred people have for us is equal to their distate for doping, so city winning isn't a bad thing as long as we are second.

But once city start winning every season by a clear 12 points people will lose interest. Viewing figures drop, sponsorship dries up, the prem becomes just another league with a group of also rans with 1 dominant team like Germany & France or possibly 2 like Spain.

But you'll still hear some of our fans moaning that we're not keeping up with them. <doh>
It's just not going to happen - whoever they want they'll get. Even if we up our offers they'll just come back over the top.
The only players we'll get are those they don't want or that for some reason choose not to go there.
FFP is as big a joke as VAR. Both equally incapable of doing the job they were brought in for.

I'd imagine most people have been fed up with it for a while now.
The only reason we've retained any interest is because we've been able to at least compete with them for the last few years - but look at us now, a few points dropped and we're basically done for. In the past a slow start was something you could recover from because all teams would have a bad patch at some point. I'm expecting Arsenal to at any time, but City will just steamroller their way to another title.
Doesn't matter whether it's through corruption, impotence or incompetence, the football authorities have stood by and watched what used to be the best, most competitive league become a procession to a foregone conclusion.
Like you say, eventually global interest will decline. In the end though, perhaps that's what's needed if we're ever to get our game back.

It's astonishing how much we're hated. We are literally the only reason this league hasn't been the Bundesliga or Ligue 1 with City winning every year. We made it competitive, whilst putting up record numbers. The levels from us have been staggering, especially given we didn't cheat.

    Jealousy

    That simple.

Mancs pretend it's all fine while they cry about their side cos at least we don't win

Everton fans are that bitter they think its great city are so good.

Most non top 6 fans see zero difference between us and city as big clubs are all shafting the match going fans and that. What's the difference is city utd, arsenal, Chelsea or us win stuff. Plus we treat clubs badly by paying them for their players.

We're disliked because the fans get carried away. Every player (and manager) is 'the best in the world'. I don't get the obsession of this tbh, just appreciate what we've got and enjoy the ride.

Modesty and respect go a long way.
