I honestly don't know what the best club for him would be. I think he's a very promising prospect that would suit us perfectly. I also think that we could get Laimer on a free and Barella, both for the money Bellingham would cost. If he chooses money and a bench place then I will know that my character assessment of him will have been off.

I'm not holding my breathe. I'm with you that there is a chance he'll choose us (like VVD did) but probably a bigger chance he'll chase the bigger money or easier medals elsewhere

The benefit of us is that he guarantees to start. Madrid have a lot of competition, Chelsea have a million midfielders and City too like to rotate.

Luis Suarez is available on a free soon (before the world cup starts). Worth a short term deal?

Their teams have been jekel and hyde. Some top talents and some ****e. It's great to have that relationship with agents to be a pass the player on club but in the end they are not actually building to a real challenge to bayern.

Ffs look at the state of bayern today with mane. Dortmund are still not top and only a couple points ahead of the worst bayern side in years (what were they thinking buying mane as a striker)

Not just best player I've seen play for us, best player I've seen play. For a season there was no one better in the world. For a season he was better than Salah ever has been for us.

It's not just that he looked good, he made other players look good too. He made Sturridge look good! Anyone remember the feared S+S days? When Studge was considered a dangerous striker?

That was all Suarez's doing, as soon as he left Studge was mediocre. Suarez almost single handed won the Premier League. We finished second with Brendan Rodgers as manager. Brendan Rodgers could have won the Premier League. <laugh>

suarez was the best I’ve ever seen live - and was probably the best player in the planet fir a couple of years - I’ve never seen a player like him up close

That's fair enough you know who you've seen.

There's a level above though and those players are who they are in sure own playing career, it's not a long list so I am not disparaging suarez by saying that.
