Liverpool Have Offered Two Year Loan Deal With Option to Purchase for £88m for Superstar Midfielder iverpool have made a stunning move to bring Philippe Coutinho back to Anfield this summer, with the Brazil international keen on a return, according to a report from Italian publication Calciomercato via The Express this morning.
Probably. I 'broke' this story a week ago and was roundly told to take another nine months off the board. If it's right, I expect profuse apologies from all concerned.
From what I hear, they're paying in instalments and there's the add-on fees, such as winning the CL (don't snigger) that haven't been activated, so £80m-odd is about what's left to pay. I think it works out @ a £30m loan fee, if you like.
A lot of this seems to be coming from his agent. Isn't he the same one that managed to get £10m knocked off Luis's release clause for Barca, and also enabled them to pay by instalments, even though you're supposed to pay the whole fee up front with release clauses, as PSG did for Neymar? I wouldn't do any deal with Barca unless they beg us - isn't there supposed to be a two -year hiatus between us?
Although I despised the prick for the way he left, I would take Coutinho back. Assuming he gets back to the same level he was before he left, then I think he would take this team to the next level.
