Can apparently has agreement to go to Juve in summer on freebie. Be a real shame if we lost him for nothing, he has potential to really step up and ha shown it in spells here.

Were getting keita so have replacement already lined up. Not often say this but with our lack of options in CM I'd rather keep him this year and lose him for free than sell for 20-30m this summer though.

Strangest deal of window, Dortmund signing English 17 yr old Sancho from City for £10m and giving him Dembele's old number 7.... where did that come from?!

There's a saying, something like - if you want to know what future behaviour to expect, look at past behaviour. Van Dijk left Celtic in the lurch, wants to do the same to Southampton so yes I agree with you, he will look to do the same to us. I don't want that at Liverpool. I also don't want to have to read all the apologist saints fans vindictive comments aimed at the fans. The same people putting out their self righteous garbage on here, are the ones defending the crap by their own fans. ''That's football'' - hell no it isn't. Banter is banter, bring it on. Mocking tragedies by using offensive phrases has no place in football, defending those doing it makes them complicit.

Anyway I'm done with it now and other than the two saints fans who are good posters, I don't want to see any of them on here. So if you're reading this Herr Klopp - forget Van Dijk, move on <laugh>

I don't remember him leaving Celtic in a bad way? And although I don't agree with players striking, VVD has handed in a transfer request as he wants to move to a club playing in Europe. Is there anything wrong with that? Not really... he's not refused to play or run away like Dembele did before his move to Barca.

Can't argue that it isn't to be honest. Constantly in CL getting to latter stages and competing for trophies every year. Although league should be lot more competitive in next few years wth ac Milan spending big bucks to get back to the top.

I've tried supporting my local team but unfortunately they all drink in same pub as me and are knobs to a man (or boy as it is increasingly) lol...hard to cheer them on the field with that in mind!

He was one year into his contract I think. Not the same hoohah as there's been this time though. He refused to go on pre-season didn't he. I can't blame him for wanting out of Southampton but he's your typical stepping stone player.

I wasn't quite thinking of that low tbh lol

I have access to local / semi local 2 Championship sides and 1 league 1 sides and I'm considering taking one of them up on their offer of hospitality from next season and ****ing the PL off as my match going experience.

Football is eating itself. The amount of money swishing around is obscene. I said the other day the game's been taken too far away from it's roots. I'd take up one of those offers mate and get the enjoyment back <ok>

Yeah it's proper Amateur stuff.

Lol... I'm not fussed on the Irish league teams either which is as high as it goes over here. Ards would be my closest team I suppose (currently last in NIFL).

You could always experiment for a year and see how it goes!

Tbh I've been considering it for a few years now. What's stopped me in the last 3 is that my lad has been at Uni in the Pool and it's been great catching up with him at the match every other week, but this season could well be my last as a STH in the PL.
