Butland = absolutely!

Cresswell = Robertson equivalent

Carvalho = is there a reason no one's taken the plunge? Could be another Eriksen though

Once I heard bavk injury I knew he was off but imo it's low **** and negates any talk of a amicable parting.

I'd have done the best deal for lfc no bother and gone and bought a few guys... but to fake a back I just to for e a move is lot sent.

Just like vvd virus <laugh>

2) and? It is probably required to be in writing, email is just as good as a letter, especially from the agent. Or do you think players still go into the managers office to discuss these things?

3) "potentially" - so not factual then?

4) if you got a new job and a better one cane along a week later would you stay at the first place? He got a better offer after signing, **** happens

5) How do you know it only arose late in the window? Besides, it's been going on for about four weeks now and there is still another 2wks until the window closes!

Tbh i've never liked Valdes but he was actually alright in his final years for Barca. Injured for most of it for United and Boro but when he played he didn't seem that bad and he's free. Think he's might be better than butland but you probably like Butland because he can make loads of saves ala mignolet. I dont think he's bad in the air but he's not a dominating keeper.

Cresswell is no way robertson. He had a **** season last year but i think it was down to injuries. Before that though he had 2 fantastic years defensively and attacking and he's a deadly crosser of the ball as well.

Dunno why everyones avoiding carvalho, looks a beast when i see him play. The only thing is he looks lazy all the time but he's disciplined which is the most important thing and isn't trying to attack when he's meant to be anchoring the team.

I'm not necessarily saying those views are all my own but I can certainly see where the fans are coming from.

This isn't the same as any regular job, I hate that silly comparison. The difference here is that players are contracted for a definitive period which they agree to. If you consider contracting work - how would a business feel if you left for a better contract halfway through a project, especially after recently committing to improved terms which doubled your salary? Cannot imagine they would take too kindly.

ps. the word 'potentially' was merely to try and give Coutinho the benefit of the doubt - his family can't have come out with that from thin air (if they did, he did little to address that misinformation, further serving as evidence that he isn't in disagreement with the statement).

Hmm interesting - if we're not going to persist with Karius, then someone like Timo Horn would be good.

LB - Emerson at Roma was looked at but he suffered a serious injury in the last game of the season. I think we could be in for him in Janaury ...

No 6 - Seri of Nice would be brilliant. We should have gone for Paredes before he moved to Zenit. Goretzka is another. But I would want to move Can to 6, then go all out for Keita or Kovacic.

Call it fickle or hypocritical, we just want what's best for the team. Coutinho can go to Barca next season and piss on our shirt for all I care - just as long as we get 12 months of quality from him and a good fee.

And like players should be allowed to leave whenever they like anytime during their contract(get to ****), and he's also jumped on the "Couthinho has been a model professional for LFC" blah blah blah, he's been paid handsomely for playing football and living a lavish lifestyle during times of austerity for most people.

Horn is 10-15mil max you've 85mil for a no 6 and an lb... if you save enough you can pick a striker or whatever with rest.

Yup. You are right.

It's just purely down to ****ing about hoping we are not in cl and having to sell. He knows if he played and we hammered hoffenheim itd be all over for his new found dream
